        ANYTHING LEFT REP :)

  • Everything gone… Tried to purchase last night but got nowhere.

  • hi rep. when will you ship? i understand there is probably a lot of orders to go through…

    • Shipping should take between 2-4 business days :) you should be notified by e-mail once your order has shipped

hi rep. i ordered on 24th nov but still haven't received shipping email. i really need this before 4 nov (next thursday). can you please make sure it will arrive by then? many thanks.

        • Hi,

Due to the large volume of orders we can't guarantee delivery by that date.

        • -1

hi rep. in that case, i would like to cancel the order please. it has been 5 days since still the order has not been shipped. my emails to <[email protected]> were also unanswered. i have pm-ed you with my order details.

  • Received my order for Samsung micro sd class 10 32G. But disappointed to see that it is clearly not genuine Samsung! Invoice says no return or exchange on sale stock so I'm basically out of luck and stuck with a fake micro sd card. Hope those of you who bought other brands have better luck.

    • Oh really?? Now I'm concerned. Can you upload some pics?

      • +1

Here it is. See for yourself.

        http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/44938/26945/micro_sd.jp…

I've sent an email to <[email protected]> to report this, but I'm not hopeful because my last 2 emails went unanswered.

        • How do you know it's not a real one? Bought one of those cards as well :(

        • That's worrying.

Paid with paypal? Open a dispute?

        • The samsung logo on the adaptor is clearly not the genuine samsung logo. Also, the word "Adapter" is misspelt as "Adspter".

I'm still trying to resolve this amicably with the seller. Hoping not to escalate to paypal.

        • Jeez, could this have been a scam to quickly move fake cards?

  • Has anyone successfully received any stock that was genuine ? I am still waiting on 2 x eyefi cards totalling $167.50.

I am getting ready to contact ACCC/ ASIC if they do not arrive soon.

  • Just received mine only received 1 of two cards mine the one I got is non genuine . Sent email but will open a PayPal dispute
In a couple of days if no luck

  • Has anyone tested the card? I've never tested one before but downloaded a program called H2testw which apparently is good for testing. I let the test run for an hour and from what i can tell it's a full 32gb card and didn't have any errors.

The adaptor is a strange thing though, the micro sd card doesn't fit in it! Could it be possible that the guy we bought it from makes his own packages with crappy adaptors but real micro sds? There is a small gold sticker on the back of the micro sd that says "Mr Flash 2014.03 "

  • It appears that they obtained another ABN:

    Name: N.J BIRSS & A.J CETIN
    ACN/ARBN:
    ABN: 36 284 616 453
Regulator: Australian Securities and Investments Commission
    Business name(s): Flash Memory Men

I also found a posting at another website saying "We are shutting down as I am heading back to the UK and I am pursuing other interests", so I am not confident about getting any sort of refund/ monies back if my cards actually arrive and are not genuine.

Registered address & contact details are as follows:

    Unit 1302, 620 Collins St
    Melbourne, VICTORIA, 3000
    0475 631 533

Is there anyone in Melbourne who could give them a visit and have them explain why products are taking so long to arrive and why some of them appear to be fakes ?

  • Ordered some microSD cards during this sale, still waiting for delivery on them.

  • Both Eyefi cards I ordered turned up today via Australia Post and are 100% genuine.

Apparently the Samsung branded MicroSD cards are manufacturing seconds which was described on the website.

  • No mention of it in the item description http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:yOAcMKB…

Confirmed by Samsung to be counterfeit, and also confirmed by Samsung they do not sell any manufacturing seconds.

  • Got my 32GB Kingston MicroSD today. All the comments about them receiving fakes have me doing a h2testw.

Might take a while since it's class 4…

    • The h2testw seemed fine. Guess I'll check the serial.

  • Have now opened up a PayPal dispute . Have emailed them four times and tried to contact via oz bargain no response .

Samsung clearly a fake as above

Thanks to a great site would not have pick this up :-)

    • +1

      Good news already resolved

Nick Birss has agreed to grant a $xxx.xxAUD refund to settle this dispute.
It may take up to 5 working days for the refund amount to appear in your
account. This dispute will then be closed.

      • That's bad though, they obviously had a bunch of fakes and they know it!

        • Only after it was proven they were fakes, he tried to claim they were manufacturing seconds at first.

      • The seller denied my request for a refund claiming they were "manufacturing seconds"
I have now escalated it to claim and forwarded the email I received from Samsung to paypal.

  • If the Samsungs are fakes, why don't those who ordered call in the law (ACCC, trading standards or whoever) as well as raising a PayPal dispute?

  • Has anyone not received what they ordered? I received an email on 28/11 saying my order has been completed… but it usually doesn't take more than a week to receive something sent domestically? I'm in VIC.

    • I think Memory Men post from Victoria so you should get yours pretty quickly.

      • I thought so too, hence this is both worrying (late delivery) and concerning (people receiving seconds / "fakes").

        • Arrived today - hand delivered… want my $1.50 back, lol. :)

  • I haven't received mine either guys

  • Just received my parcel, but was sent an 32GB SD card instead of microSD card, no reply yet, have now sent three unanswered. Lucky Paypal gives a chance at fairplay when things go wrong.

    • My Samsung 16gb Microsd's are ALL FAKES I guess. Eg. "adapter" is misspelled "adspter" etc. Text is cracked and inconsistent on each sd adapter.

      • Open up a paypal claim. I did and got my money back. I spoke with samsung and they confirmed they were fake

        • Done, and listed this page for Paypal to reference regarding fake samsung cards.

        • @NOYANONO:
Wow, a couple of days and result is:

          Paypal Status
This claim has been decided in your favour and you'll receive a $38.50 AUD refund.

I doubt I'd ever got refunded by the seller. Still no reply from him to multiple emails.
But Paypal really works in genuine cases to protect shoppers.

          Best

        • Glad to hear it. It this the biggest scam to hit ozbargain?

        • @rukia:
Now there's an interesting forum topic. Ozb has been around I guess maybe 8 to 9 years, there must be some beauties. You got some spare time to post it?
I think this seller probably got scammed himself from a supplier, and decided to dump the fakes on us & quit the business.
          Anyway

  • Is anybody who received counterfeit cards still waiting for a refund or for their claim to be resolved?
