How can I get the app for free if I have an Amazon.com account?
To shop Amazon.com.au change your ‘1-Click address’ to your Australian address. Go into 'Manage Your Content and Devices' and then into 'Settings'. Check that the ‘Country Settings’ say Australia. Click 'Change' to check your address is in Australia. You do not need to create a new account and you can continue to shop for physical goods at Amazon.com. You can always change back to Amazon.com for digital products at any time.

          Mine was originally a US account then I changed it to AUS, but I've still been able to grab apps from amazon.com instead of amazon.com.au.

    This deal deserves a +1 purely for MAPS.ME Pro. Amazing offline maps and navigation solution. Full Aus maps and nav data = ~250mb, well worth it.

    Bought a few of the free apps which lets me purchase but when I install it doesnt want to download for some reason. "There was an error while downloading APP NAME. Please try again, connection and wifi are fine … office 100mb fibre connection !! I'm not getting the confirmation emails of my purchases either… but it is showing in my cloud app list… anyone else having issues.

          Being a new comer to a forum doesn't mean you can't read the title of the deal. As he said, it clearly says it's for Android. So unless you have an emulator installed on your Surface, this deal is obviously irrelevant for your device.
