  • Ends tomorrow noon.

Or when all 5 of those SSDs have been sold, which most likely will happen well before tomorrow noon.

So you have access to SE stock levels do you? I wouldn't be surprised if they have sold at least 5 since they went on sale at noon.

      • +3

I have access to the search functionality of OzBargain as well as a working memory; which tells me that SE will have, as is typical, very little stock of these.

If a rep can correct me, I invite them to, but I doubt that.

        • Out of all of those occasions that you have found in your searching were they the 1 hour deals where they list limited quantity in the post anyway? Or are you referring to type of SE daily deals where the special lasts 24 hours or more?

I thought I was the cranky old man

          Hi Amar89,

We always provide limited stock for our promotion and they do go quicker, but putting 5 in stock will not sustain our company for so long.

Of course your comment suggest that you did not successfully purchase a certain particular item during our sale - so i can understand you might still be a bit upset over it.

Perhaps you can suggest for us to repeat or provide similar deals?

          Cheers

As it turns out I just went to buy the 256Gb. Out of stock…

Well that's a nice attempt at deflection and your groupies certainly came to the rescue, but why don't you just tell all of us how many of these SSDs you had in stock?

My money's on 20 or less.

I've never bothered to purchase anything from ShoppingExpress because any items worth purchasing from you guys have sold out before your "sales" began.

<== mate i do not need to proof to you, but thanks for increasing from 5 to 20 or less now. You have slightly changed your opinions on us.

Groupies form from purchase experience, ozbargainers are smart buyers, not just you. You might also realize if you bothered with us when you comment you might snag that "5 piece" from everyone else instead of waiting for hours for someone to pick them up.

          Cheers

  • This, or wait for 840 Evo to hit the same price levels?

    • If you need it, buy now. I doubt the real world performance dif would be noticeable, and Crucial is rock solid.

  • its $189.99 on amazon, with the amex free shipping its roughly $211 give or take

thats the lowest its ever been even with the crappy exchange rate

I think a $30 difference is enough to forgo warranty. THis is like the 3rd ssd ive gotten so i dont thinks going to be a problem

    • +2

If your paying by Amex your conversion would be at best $223, and that's before any US to AU conversion charges your credit card imposes. It's around $16 difference without factoring conversion charges.

    • ah yes, i never bothered to check the price of the 512gb, i kind of only had my eye on the 256gb. the 512gb is cheaper from amazon :)

      • how do you get the free shipping?

        • showed free shipping to me, didn't have to do anything.

a promo thing about daily deals was applied automatically.

        • @baldy:

          ah i see it now

          Thanks

Ordered, but then i forgot to change the payment funding type

        • @ShoppingExpress:

i called your customer service line
i paid $239 so its all good, but i used the wrong funding method in paypal so will need to call back next week to sort out a refund repurchase

  • Hi can some tell me if this is a good deal?

    • well cheapest 256gb is $133 and 512gb is $256 locally, so yes its a good deal.

    • For Australian stock yes it is, if you want to save $10 Amazon have it cheaper ATM. There is a separate post already listed today.

      • Yer I wanted the 512gig one and I won't buy from Amazon this time cause I want it before christmas :p

  • Lowest local price ever i think

Except when it was sold for $205 when they launched. Or even $237.15 via eBay with a coupon code 2 months ago.

  • The 256gb version seems to be sold out :(

  • Imaging software like the Samsung?
