  • The link takes me to 7 not 8.

Turns out 8 is now free. Which probably means ads.

    • Link to version 8 working fine for me.

      • 8 is free. How can it be on sale if it's free?

        • This is the paid PRO version. You're looking at the Free version.

HOW IS OFFICESUITE PRO BETTER THAN OFFICESUITE FREE?
          • Ad free.
          • Format Painter in Word documents.
          • Security features - work with password protected files.
          • Insert pictures using your camera or from an external file.
          • Additional options in Excel including Insert Filter, Conditional Formatting, Define Name, Import Image, Edit Chart, and Save as CSV.
          • Edit transitions in PowerPoint slideshows.

        • @MiniMoo: I'm not. They'd removed the 'Pro' name (except for the demo for some reason). Version 7 is paid for. Version 8 is Freemium.

  • Isn't the actual official office free these days for android?

    • Not compatible with my tablet (TF301) for some reason. It's office, how powerful does it need to be?

    • Unless you want functionality that is less than Notepad on Windows, then you would want to use the "official office" from Microsoft on Android. It truly is a bad product. Version 8 of this is really good and they have sharpened up functionality. Only complaint I have is that they make you pay $11 for the Office font packs in order to install more compatible fonts. Thats where the money is made - not with the core product itself.

Myself would recommend the Free WPS office (or its older Kingsoft form) or on a tablet, get the Androffice which is the first and only Open Office for Android with the full Office capabilities.

  • I finally found a use for some of my 500 Amazon cents… now have 401 to spend… :-)

    • Get a load of this guy.

Who on Ozbargain don't have 4000+ coins free from various deals?

      • -1

Me, I guess… I must have missed most of them, over the years.

Amazon coins are too "stable" in value to collect, IMO.

Now, ask me how many BitCoins I bought,
and how many they've grown into, since. ;-)
