    Its $48.95 USD plus $10.15 USD postage.

    Or the ones shipped and sold by Amazon.com are $50.51 USD plus $11.02 USD postage. Combine that with a bit more purchase and the Amex deal and you can get free postage that way.

    • Thanks John. Updated

  • Does the AKG Q 701 need amping?

    • +1

      Will be much better with an amp

      Also note, I have been watching them for a while and $190 is not much of a sale, they have been $192 for months

      • Thanks. What do you recommend amp wise for them?

        • I like the Fiilo E17. Depends on your budget and sources

        • @noone025:

          Macbook air, budget up to 200

          @The Quote Train:

          I think the Fiio E17 at around 100-110 is a great DAC, personally I use one of these: http://hifimediy.com/U2-DAC

          Might not give enough for higher impedance cans, the AKG's look pretty efficient, but I'd be worried it wouldn't cut it if you wanted to play it LOUD.

    • Definitely, they're quite difficult to drive for $200 headphones. Using them with e17s does not give it anywhere near enough power, o2 and odac worked much better.

  • As darpy01 suggests, an amp will bring the best out of this headphone.
