    Earliest ever.

And the only healthy thing to eat in this whole list is the toilet paper.
The rest is just contributing to our country's obesity epidemic.

Nothing wrong with the rice crackers.

      • +1

You realise that white rice has a GI very close to ice cream and almost no fibre.

    • Do the crumpets come in a wholemeal version? (lower GI, fibre)
But yes, mostly impulse-buy junk food we can do without. At least its better than a 2-for-1 deal that they often seem to do with junk food.

As long as it has no gluten. Otherwise you'll end up quarantined inside a Papa John's pizza restaurant.

Who on earth goes to Coles to buy healthy (fresh) food? Their quality is rubbish. Supermarkets are only good for buying junk food, packaged foods and other household products.

coleworths fruit and veg is usually very nice, but prices are hit and miss.
In Adelaide, you're better off with fruit and veg from
The Central Market. Variety and price wise, it can't be beaten :) as a simple example, Granny Smith apples are usually $5.49 or more at coleworths. At Central Market, I get them for $1.50 to $2.00 (or more if I want to pay fore).

      The WORLDS obesity epidemic*
We dont think its that bad cos we dont see them, its cos they are hidden away, probably eating…

    • And someone is pointing a gun to your head to buy their stuff. They have a responsibility but you contribute to your own obesity problem.

Shouldn't there be some sort of health warning over eating Toilet Paper or at least a Nutritional Panel on the packaging indicating the Fibre content?

OP, maybe include a key item (or 2 or 3) to the title before someone steals your thunder ;)

Or just leave it for my groceries to post as they do it the best.

      • They do but tend to be a bit slow.

      • But then there's still 5 or so posts on individual highlights. If it's in title it can't be separately listed.

  • !!!?

  • Any alcohol deals worth mentioning?

      • can you blame the government? (any government, btw, regardless of which political party is in power)
we still have a culture of drinking to excess and glorifying it.
some idiots still think it's perfectly fine to drink and drive. parents who are more concerned with appearing "cool" in front of their under-18 kids and supplying them with alcohol.

so….until we solve our binge drinking/alco problem, you'll just have deal with not being able to buy your tampons with your booze

        • Yes, but why does it have to be a federal law? It should be up to each particular city council whether they allow stores within that council to sell alcohol or not. This is the same way it's done in the US - by county, rather than state. Not all areas of Australia have such a problem. In the wealthy inner suburbs, for example, there is almost no drinking problem. It mostly only affects the lower class areas. They are not going to bother driving all the way to the inner areas to buy their booze.

…. all I wanted to know was how I could spend my $88 Coles Online "sorry" voucher.

So, I'll reiterate - OP any alcohol deals worth mentioning?

dunno, but i'm getting a bottle of woodford reserve, and a bottle of angostura bitters, and a bag of oranges and making myself some Old Fashioneds when they get delivered.
