@ShamelessBargains: Just checked the DSE website (www.dse.com.au) and they only have the 64gb Gold listed on there as well. Rest of the models are listed but don't go to anything (HTTP 404 not found error) when clicked. So yeah maybe they only have this model in stock at the moment.

as someone after a PS4 i gotta say microsoft did well dumping the kinect + lowering the price for the XB1. after the XB1 being perceived as the poor-value system pre-launch, it seems like there's been a complete 180 now and the XB1 consistently gets the cheaper prices and better bundles (seriously, i've never seen any bundle for PS4 at $400 - the console alone rarely dips that low). i'm still on the sony ship here, but not as convincingly as i was before

If I plan on selling the two Assassin's Creed games (nothing against them, just not going to play them on consoles when they're available on PC) and buying Forza Horizon 2 and GTA V (yes, I'm impatient), would this still be worth it, or should I hold out for a different bundle?
I don't think you'll get a better bundle in the next few months at a good price like this, you can sell the games and spend only a little bit more if you are savvy enough IMO

The order confirmation was from Dick Smith. I also received a text saying to come and pick up my order. Going to pick up tomorrow, hopefully they honour my order. Maybe they didn't have stock at the store you ordered from?

Dick Smith is always selling what they don't have
MS Store still has good bundles - for $499 you get the same AC bundle plus 2 disc games and 12 months xb live. Use cashrewards to get it down to $480. Youd easily sell the disc games and xb live for about $40 each and ur down to $360, which is $40 cheaper than dodgy DSE.

Same here, my order was cancelled this morning. DSE are good at getting your hopes up and then not delivering. I was really hoping they would honour this deal but they are just another big greedy corporation who don't care about their customers and are only interested in their bottom line.
I just used the Amex $100 off deal instead, not as good but still a discount none the less.
