    Just another question, as they expire on Oct 2015, does that mean if it was to be activated right now they would expire on Oct 2015 or is there an expiry from activation?

      I would expect 30 day expiry after activation, never heard of a longer expiry for Telstra at 3gb.

    Assuming that the 3gb data sims are the old ones advertised for iPads, you're only able to activate them as 2gb since the new prepaid broadband offer is $30 for 2gb. Just a heads up

      Yeah, noticed that but guessing it's a mistake or they just re-used an old link without bothering edit the address. The product description and receipt states 3GB so I am hoping that better be correct.

        The site seems to be working now.

        The apparent lack of HTTPS by default and an invalid SSL certificate are points of concern. I.e. everything is being sent as plaintext. Additionally passwords are artificially limited to 20 characters in length, and seem to fail when particular non-alphanumeric characters are used. The only saving grace is handing off to PayPal for the actual payment, which is over a secured connection.

    Please don't get your SIM chopped. Go to your local Telstra Store AFTER you have activated the SIM and ask them to change it to a suitable size.

        Yeah but activate it before you go in so it's quicker. If you get them to activate it in store you need to wait for that to go through before they can do the ISM replacement and depending on you you see they may make you wait for it before they give you the SIM card.

          Only took minutes for me. But replacement can take some time to be active as usual. Have done this with several Telstra & Vodafone data SIMs. Maybe I was lucky.
