Last period free spring water deal has ended, the new offer is chocolate bars. See here for picture of bars and voucher.

Coles Express now have free 'The Bar' 40g chocolate bar ATM vouchers. You receive a voucher every time you do a balance enquiry or make a withdrawal at a Coles Express ATM in store. These bars usually cost $2.45 & there's around 8 flavours.

ING Direct will refund your ATM fees for both of these ($1 & $2.50). You can also use your Coles Credit card to make a balance enquiry if you prefer which is fee free. Non ING / Coles Credit Card users have to pay the $1 fee.

One bar per voucher, can use multiple vouchers though. For example 4 balance enquiries = 4 vouchers = 4 chocolate bars as I did today.

Vouchers available until 7/1/15, but can be used until 21/1/15.

ING Reminder: "Every single ATM in Australia is FREE. Simply deposit $1,000 or more per month." Coles credit card customers have no such requirements.

    Are you sure coles credit card no fee?
    I thought those ATM's in express are independant and charge $2 no matter where card from?

      Very sure, I tested with both Coles Platinum Mastercard and ING today. Only ING prompted for the $1 balance enquiry fee. I also used Coles a couple times last period for the spring water just to mix things up.

      Yep. Insert card, enter pin, choose savings or credit, choose balance enquiry on screen, choose free voucher, finish or repeat.

    Just to be clear, using ING DIRECT will coles charge fee for balance enquiry and will the balance equiry fee will be refunded by ING DIRECT (if I have not desposited $1000 a month)?

      only if you had deposited $1000 in the preceding month will all ATM fees be waived

        The $1000 requirement only applies if you had a ING account for more than 6 month and/or are on 2% rebate.

        So yes need to deposit $1000+ as kronicmacstigator says unless you are a new customer of less than 6 months on the 5% still.

    Just got my free bar. There were 4 offers in total, can't remember 2 of them but the other one besides the bar was

    Recharge mininum $40 Telstra pre-paid mobile and get bonus 1,000 FlyBuys points. This is worth $5 so it's quite worthwhile if you usually recharge $40 on Telstra.

      Did 3 without issues, check out clerk must have thought it was similar to water bottle deals, or he just couldnt be bothered.

      They actually had to scan each voucher and each bar, so while i felt guilty when standing there watching him, the chocolate bars washed it all away

          Only at coles express Shell servos.. I dont think there are any self service check out there

          At some servos, the check out person will only allow one bar per person, happened to me

    Been stocking up on 4 or 6 of these a day as I go past a few different Coles Express' on my way around. Got a nice little tub filling up with them for when work comes back in early Jan.

    Favourites so far are Dark Choc & Cherry, Raw Chocolate and Chocolate Mint Crunch
