  • tab s 8.4 deal was better at only $285. This is just okay, screen res is very low for 10 inch however.

    • still cheap i'd say
i got a tab s 8.4 LTE for $398… Hmmm $285 seems like it was a better deal

extra $70 and big difference in screen sizes. hard to say really.

If this had Full HD & 2GB RAM I would have snapped it up.

  • Even if I bought it as a present whoever used it would end up disliking it at that resolution / size ratio.

    1GB RAM?!?!?

    No… just… no.

If you are buying a tablet for $211 do you really expect to be using it for uses that require greater than 1gb ram?

      • +1

The most basic of tasks need 2GB. 1GB doesn't cut it. This is why my Nook HD (with better specs than 2012 Nexus 7) sits in my draw collecting dust.

Just curious what you can't do with 1gb of ram that you would want to for $211?
          (serious question)

        • n7 runs fine thou

Also saw this one on the BL site … $278 less $50 ($228) with the same code it50off.
For the extra few $ is it a better buy? Higher res, 2g ram, not sure if processor is comparable with this LG?

This is about the price OfficeWorks is doing on these HP tablets all the time.

The LG does support 5.8GHz WiFi, GPS, miracast and it does have a better processor, but the screen resolution difference is the killer. Happy for the price with my HP 7 Plus.

  • My tab s uses 1.83 gb of ram out of 2.71 with just the browser open. lol
