Not sure free shipping option as I don't have an AMEX card, the normal shipping cost is ~18 USD. Pretty good price for a complete collection.

    Note that there were numerous issues with this supposedly region free set where some discs were actually region A encoded and therefore won't work on region B locked Blu Ray players - might be worth checking that yours is region free before buying!

    Unless you really want the packaging it's not worth it given our current exchange rate. (over $140 before shipping and/or amex transactions).

    It's $119 for the complete series at JB, and $127 for the limited edition packaging.

      I have this 'Barrel' set from Amazon and it's hands down the best quality packaging for 'special box sets' I have ever had. Well made, thick plastics, discs even well protected from scratches.

      Reports are that despite the region free 'ABC' logo on the packaging, only Season 1 is region free. The rest are A-locked.

      Maybe they fixed it with a repressing? Amazon actually list it as 'Region Free' which I've never seen them do before.

    This is the 2014 edition so maybe they sorted this out to all regions.
    I been waiting to get this and missed it last year and almost ordered the german version which comes out soon but this is even cheaper by about $40 so a plus from me lets hope they pack it well as im sure people had issues with it breaking in transit might have been last years issues?

    Looks like I got there in time,I do have a few multi region players but to be honest I rarely get region a set if I can hel it.mostly region b.
    I do have walking dead from season 1-4 collector sets all from us but that was due to keeping them all from same place,one not being available apart from USA and having missed out on another which sold out so rather than have a mixed set kept them all usa editions.
    This is coming out later this month in Germany so may get that but it's a little more im annoyed this is not region free as was looking forward to it

    i thought there were no region free players for bluray, only DVD?

    This set seems to be region fixed so take care. (whats the price at amazon uk? best bet is just to buy from JB hifi and also save some dollars as SteveBuscemi mentioen above.

    Yes you can region change blu Ray uk barbell never came out took out tin edition instead,but I want the barrel edition and prefer this to all others.

    Is there not a issue with other editions like ones that was from uk etc being also region locked? So this will not matter if I used one of my multi players.
    But it's get German version costing more or this can't make up my mind and deal be ending soon already had canceled it.
    Does anyone have German one is the stuff inside in German or English.

    Also on the exchange rate from order of yesterday through Amazon be paying a little more today is it cheaper to not use Amazon convert or or does your bank hit you with charges anyway.

    It says it has English Audio and Subs, but damn it's expensive!

    Strange that Amazon UK doesn't have it (maybe they did at some stage?).

    Yes they did in 2013 not like others who took out another this year.i was hoping they get another barrel but cant see that as it came out with tin version.its so strange as all other amazons took out another barrel this year but not uk.maybe they suprise us yet but if there was ever a time it would be in the run up to xmas and its a little late for that.
    Be great to see the german one with a reduced price soon after it comes out.
    Shame the usa edition was locked as I thought it was a good deal
