    Anyone know:

How long it can stay up?
    How high can it fly?
How far can it be from the phone?
    Does it have Android support?

all great questions, I was going to add exactly the same, the only other one I would add is how stable is the camera… as some of these don't make it worthwhile having a camera.

tried to search the www for it, didn't really come up with anything, not even the company..
(if this is their page: http://inspiretech.com.au/ it leaves much to be desired!)

I'd give it 20-30 meters if its wifi…(although I wouldn't be surprised if it could go up to 100 outdoors being wifi…)
      Edit:

simular product… from the same company?

if its simular, its states both android and ios fwiw. 25-30 on that one, so maybe the same?

Found that link too and it's $69.95 on that site so the saving of $100 sounds dubious. Am still waiting for my Syma X5 from recent OzB post though …

        • the one in the above link doesn't seem to have a camera though. so very different RE specs, however might be simular in regards to wifi and controller….possibly?

"How long it can stay up?"

Depends if you charge it Viagra power or ordinary power :P

  • Doesn't mention Android support, which is probably why it isn't sell. This would be the major market.

I have emailed the distributor re Android support.

The original price seems high for what it is though.

The range won't be great because of the limited range/transmission power of handheld devices. I would suggest less than 50m.

  • Closest I can find is the Wi-Spi RC Helicopter but it supports both iOS and Android.

    • Just received this (+1 for quick delivery). It's an Attop YD-215, it come with a standard controller so it can flies like normal R/C toy. Controller has a housing that fits iPhone 5 or smaller. The app (Attop Wifi) last updated on 28/01/2013… I'll have to try tonight to see will it work with iOS8.

      • got an update on this? distance, battery life, camera quality, (picture and shake etc) does it hover? is it easy to fly etc?

      • Hi,
I just got mine. The rear rotor blade doesn't spin on mine but I don't know if it is supposed to on the copter. Does it spin on yours?
