20% off Gift Cards $100 or Greater @ Venom Protein

70
20OFF

Venom Protein 20% off gift vouchers which are $100 or more using code 20OFF. Valid until 23 Dec max 3 uses.

Best discount I have seen all year and beats Bulk Nutrients current offer of free shipping on orders over $200.

So $100 voucher for $80 will buy you 4kg of WPC with a free shaker shipped. Pretty good if you ask me and a 5th kg for a further $8. Compared to BNs current prices they have 5kg if WPC for $111 shipped, so $23 less with Venom.

  • Can you use a discount code with your gift card?

    • +1

no you cant. It says on the Gift card page.

    • Unsure, you'd have to get in touch with Venom to clarify. If you can you may be able to take advantage of done of their other Christmas offers. Also these cards get mailed out by the looks of things so I'm not sure if you get an instant eCard to use straight away.

  • tried 4 bags of their WPC, the protein smells like strong Chinese medicine and the flavours are a bit bland. It's cheap I suppose lol.

    • so you wouldnt recommend the protein?
i'm pretty particular with the taste/texture of it. when you're consuming something regularly you'd want to make sure you at least can stand the taste.

      • I've tried a few bulk-branded protein suppliers & branded ones: (Bulk Supps, No Bulls, Venom, ON, Dymatize, Gaspari Nutrition)

        Depends,

-For price: Venom I would recommend it for the best cost per serving for WPC protein (when they had that Nova coupon deal). Mixes well, with no clumps (unless you're mixing with milk) but the taste is way too light, it's equivalent to drinking Coke with the ice all melted in it. Have not tried the WPI protein so I cant comment on that but it should be very similar. But if you can get over that disgusting powder smell then yeah I would probably go for this on a budget.

-For taste: I actually love the No Bulls Supplement WPI range, the flavours are amazing (Choc-Honeycomb)! WPC department is a lackluster though, boring protein generic flavours. Mixes well, don't believe I had issues with clumping unless you're mixing with milk.

Just get some samples and see what you prefer, also I do prefer bulk suppliers over the branded ones as I can have a choice of different flavours. Nothing like drinking Banana flavour protein for 3 months straight to put you off, I still gag thinking about that flavour.

    • As with any company get a sampler first, I think you can get all their flavors for $20 or something. I liked vanilla and butterscotch, but I'm a sweet tooth. Chocolate is fine also.

  • After using Bulk nutrients, I would never go back to Venom.
The taste of BN is much better.

    bunch of girls

Try unflavoured soy protein, its like the Asian soy bean drink (not the shit in WW or coles) but with no sugar.

I get 90% natural now, add half a banana, some frozen berries, cocoa, coffee etc and blend

      • Thats bullcrap. do some research mate.

  • Anyone know if we can stack these cards when purchasing stuff from their website and pay with a Debit/Credit Card if there is a difference in the total amount? I.e. Buy 20kg WPC bag for $360 and pay $350 with gift cards and $10 with Debit/Credit card?
    Thanks!

    • It does say only 1 coupon/gift card per order @ checkout. But I'm sure you could email them and ask.

      • Cool yeah, tried calling them a few times but no answer on the phone. Thanks!

        • Interested to see how you go. I bought 2x $100 instead of 1x $200 and need to do the same thing.

        • +1

@h4lcyon: Yeah I'll send them a message and hope for the best!

        • @PLA74: Just got a reply from their sales staff, sadly only 1 gift voucher can be used per transaction. And they don't allow split payments i.e. we can't pay the difference by credit/debit card.

        • @PLA74:

My cards arrived 5 mins ago. The 2nd point on the card insert reads

"2. Add items to your shopping card to the value (or over the value) of your gift voucher. If your shopping cart is over the value of your gift voucher, you will need to pay the difference"

It basically works the same as discount codes, where you get a discount then have to pay the remainder.

So you should be able to pay the difference.

        • @h4lcyon: Yeah that's what I thought, what are you planning on getting? I want to get either 20/25/30kg of WPC.

        • +2

          @PLA74:

Since the largest gift card is $200, your paying full price for anything over that amount.

Here is a quick spreadsheet I did to work out the per KG price using a $200 voucher.

It's all around $16 per kg regardless of how much you buy over the 10kg.

Otherwise you could look at this for 20kg, although it us from AUS rather than NZ.

        • @h4lcyon: Nice spreadsheet. Thanks for sharing with us! I'll probably stick to 10KG then and buy more later if needed since the cost like you mentioned is around $16/kg.

        • @PLA74:

          Nevermind :)

        • @h4lcyon: No worries mate, thanks!
