      iPhone 6 Plus battery capacity close to 3000, so you would assume that the 10400 could charge it roughly from 0% 3 times, taking into account any inefficiencies and not using it while it's charging. The 16000 you could get 5 charges out of it.

        The 10,400/16,000mAh figures are for the 3.6V battery inside. The real capacity at 5V 2A is about 6500mAh. Phones also have charging losses. You'll notice your phone getting slightly warm when recharging - that's where the wasted energy goes to.

        If charging when the phone is switched off, the losses are a few percent… I can't remember my test results at the moment.

        That means a 3,000mAh battery should be able to be recharged about two times with the 10,400mAh unit, and about 3.x times with the 16,000mAh one.

          I would recommend a 5.3V 2A charger like the Samsung ones that come with some of their new tablets (charger model EP-TA10HWE). I achieved faster recharge rates (about an hour faster) with a 5.3V charger than a 5V charger.
