Darn, if only it was orders of $50 or more

  • The 20% off shows as ending on the 16th on the Mr Rebates link you provided, not the 18th as mentioned in this deal.

Can you stack codes? Ie, one for the rebate and another for the 20% off on the East bay website?

The 20% off never went anywhere in the first place.

Too bad we are getting stung with the current exchange rate, once was an awesome deal especially the old 30% off for $200.

  • How long does shipping usually take?

    • +3

I've ordered from them a few times and delivery takes between 3-5 days. Quite amazing actually.

  • Is the shipping expensive?

    • +1

Yes. Very. Basically this deal cancels out most of the shipping (usually).

  • +2

Shipping killed the deal for me - $40

The 20% code mitigates the postage and the prices are so much better then in Aus that overall it's still very much worth it.

  • International shipping restrictions apply on some Timberland boots…

  • When you say order up to cancel out delivery, what do you mean by that exactly? Order more to save more thus wiping the cost of delivery?

  • Thanks OP, athough it's fairly common for Eastbay to offer 20% off- at least once per month. I suggest you update deal with code LKS14D6R as this expires on 31st Dec.

Yes the discount generally covers the shipping costs, however it still works out cheaper than buying from a local retail store (shipping will also attract 20% off). However the real advantage of shopping at Eastbay is the variety (particularly fan gear), sizing and availability of clothing. In terms of delivery, longest I've waited was 6 business days and I've made half a dozen orders over the last few years.

  • For those who are interested Eastbay have changed their terms and conditions regarding international shipment slightly (for the better).

It used to be 28% to ship internationally (min 39.99)which was calculated from the non discounted price. So with the 20% off you actually pay 8% more (28%-20%) than the list price (then conversion) to get the item here.

Now it is still 28% to ship internationally, however this is calculated from the discounted price. So with the 20% off you actually pay 2.4% more than the list price (1x.8x1.24-1) which is obviously more competitive. However it does not matter how much you order you will not "wipe out" the cost of delivery, unless of course you use external cash back sites.
