For that sort of money, it might be cheaper to just subscribe to foxtel rather than download stuff.. lol

  • ridiculous.

this won't be of any use in 7 years when we will be required to have smart card or rfid implant for internet access for 'security reasons'

I would not risk 7 years as to who knows if the company will still be around. In any case, I use their service and I recommended it, just not worth the risk as a 7 year investment ;)

    • I know what you mean, but when all is said and done, the price is essentially no different to a couple of annual subscriptions at normal price. If they're around for the next couple of years - and I can't imagine that they wouldn't be given they've been around for 10 years - then you break even. If they're around for longer, then you're ahead.

      • The other reason why I wouldn't subscribe for that long is because they regularly give away annual licence for free. I'm actually using a free licence version valid for a year which is the same as a paid version, and I still have another unused paid annual licence to use.

  • 7 years is too long for this type of investment. company is good but their scheme is a no no.

  • Investment-wise this isn't an investment … 100% loss, no prospect of any returns at all.
