Fitbit Flex $84.15, Fitbit Charge $120.70, 15% off All Fitness - DSE Boxing Day Sales

160

Another decent deal from the Boxing Day sale catalogues I got tonight. DSE calling it a 2 Day Knockout Sale.

Could also pricebeat at Officeworks if that way inclined.

Edit: Just noticed the catalogue says it starts online at 4pm on Christmas Eve, so would get in early if interested.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2014

    • Well basically, except ~5% cheaper…

      • Yeah but it's meant to be a boxing day sale not an everyday sale :) Still a good price though, I posted @ that price :)

I got one then found I had to pay $60 a year to download my own data so returned it.

You can use an IFTTT recipe to do it to Google Drive.

    • Charge only for premium features.

      Most data is free…

      • I think @PipsDad means you need Premium to export your data and use it in another program.

They'd better not keep this "no free export" when they release the Surge. No way would I buy a GPS watch that I couldn't export my data from, and I'd say a lot of runners would be the same.

Your right the-mal, to me 'download' means I have all the raw data in my hot little hands :) Jawbone allows free access and even though feature for feature they seem to be a bit pricier I'll be looking at one of them. Might even hold out for the UP3.

Thanks norbs, I did know about IFTTT but I don't trust companies to maintain API access when they are selling the same commodity in competition. I also have a moral objection to companies that behave this way (Fitbit that is).

  • Does dse have any price guarantee policy where if they lower their price within X amount of days purchase you can come back to get the difference?

    • All I could find was 7 days for competitor price match. Have a query in about their $20 reduction 8 days after I purchased a Charge. We'll see how dse respond - if at all.

As long as it's not a subtle hint to exercise, you should be fine

  • This deal has NOT expired - it runs till 30-Dec-2014.

Whilst Officeworks have most of their fitbit flexes at $84.15, their black fitbit is advertised at $118.

So if you want a black fitbit flex, show them Dick Smith's $84.15 and they reduce the price to $79.94 - I bought one yesterday at OW in Kingsway - opened the DSE page on my phone: manager asked me to "add it to cart" to check that it was in stock then approved the price drop (didn't look to see if there was postage).
