Bogan needs to start supplying free stickers to cover up the shameful brand name

I think I saw a similar one in K Mart, just don't know that it is smart.

We have that Kettle, was pretty cool until the lid broke. Think we had it around 2 years or so.

    • Apparently with this Kogan one you can select the temperature you want to boil to. Will update the description. Does not say that with the Kmart one.

And here was I thinking that water boiled at the same temperature every time.

        • Sorry my bet. Heat to.

          Not when it's a Kogan "smart kettle"…

"Boil to exact desired temperature and keep warm!"

Nope. It depends on air pressure. Water's boiling point at the top of Mt Everest is 71°C. I suggest you take this kettle on your next trip there and see how smart it really is.

hmmmm….. smart kettle, Can it connect to Wifi to tell you how hot the water is or tell you when it finishes boiling???

Not very smart compared to this one:

Kogan call anything with more than an on/off switch "smart"

    • A quick cup instant hot water would be better then putting water in and using phone to heat it

  • Thanks, bought one. Already have the similar Kmart one which has been great but the temp control and keep warm functions on the Kogan will come in handy…I hope.:)

  • Anyone know how quiet it is?

  • Got the glass kettle that Aldi had (Kuchef branded) with 3yr warranty a few months ago from a relative, they love it, not sure if it's the same or has the temp control. Must be easier to clean than the stainless songs and surprisingly wasn't as heavy as expected

  • Kmart plastic model had terrible bpa taste if water was left in for a day, maybe glass model is an improvement.
    What next, stainless steel kettles?
