it'd make an impressive storm bunker,
With the powerlines all knocked out in the street, you could still use your Xbox, 76" LED TV, with 7.1 surround sound for at least 2mths using all those enloops

  • What's the best (locally available) charger for these?

        So confused.

Thought they had got over eneloop "sales" every week.

    • Why would they? You lot jump on and buy a tonne every time they do it so why wouldn't they special em off all the time.

      • -1

Because overdoing it ruins their price structure.
The "standard" price is $49.95.Who pays that? And it would annoycustomers if they do and then see them on regular special for$14.95

        • with due respect K. T. the $49.95 do not appear to be the same (Made in Japan) vs China maybe?
do a compare on their web page

        • @afterabargain:
The exact same Chocolat eight pack is $49.95(8) when its not $14.95. It certainly is on their eBay store. I have the eneloops bookmarked and I see the price go up and down like a bride's nightie between the two prices points. All the Aust Chocolats I have seen are made in China - there is only one type.
EDIT: They are $49.98 right now on their eBay store

        • @King Tightarse:

on [this page] (http://search.dicksmith.com.au/electronics/Eneloop) there are 2 tropical packs for sale $17.98 and further down $49.95
do a compare on those 2 images are identical sku#'s are different and specs difference is Made in Japan

        • +1

          @afterabargain:
1/ We are talking about Chocolat series, not Tropical.
2/ DSE's info is out of date and in some case just wrong, whether Chocolat or Tropical they are all made in China - see any recent Eneloop thread.

Its even mentioned in this very thread. They are all the same. Sometimes they are $49.98, sometimes (like weekly) they are $14.98 or $17.98 but they are the same batteries, made in China.

If you are lucky you might be able to find some old stock Japan-made Tropicals in store. They will be the same price as whatever the prevailing price is for that flavor.

    no free shipping

  • I have resisted until now, however let the eneloop addiction begin…!

    • Me too

  • Did someone say eneloop?

  • Click and Collect is available.
OP should edit the title so you don't get duped.

  • I purchased a pack of 8 AA Chocolat Eneloop batteries on Boxing day and paid via PayPal. PayPal charged me $12.51 with the comment "Payment To CatchOfTheDay.com.au Pty Ltd". Has anyone else experienced a similar fee?
