  • maybe state these are prices without shipping.

  • TV same price @ DSE so you would have to pay Shipping from COTD which makes it more expensive

The Shipping kills the deal for the batteries and eneloops

We have seen much cheaper 2TB HDD's posted on ozbargain as low as $90 shipped , this one on COTD is ~ $125 Shipped

  • dont forget coupon BDAY (if you haven't already used it!)

just picked up the Toshiba 750GB Portable HDD. (the coupon covered the shipping) which is better than the same boxing day DSE deal + shipping (DSE wouldnt allow click n collect)

    Cheers OP

I needed one exactly that size, happy with the price

Shopping express have one : HGST 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Drive for $59 on boxing day sale !!

      • @easternculture. Thanks for pointing that out I was just about to pull the trigger on the COTD hdd with BDAY code but the Shopping express one is a better deal.

        • the 2TB one is still (every so slightly) a better deal with that BDAY code covering the shipping

Catch of the day should be banned from this website, they sell obsolete junk for average prices.

    • Sennheiser Momentum On Ears are not that bad of a deal.

      • Headphones are so obscure, the margins for Sennheiser are huge.

A bargain is a bargain. If it is sold cheaper than everywhere else and if it has decent enough quality to justify that price, I think it's a bargain.

Not arguing that COTD deals are all good. I hate how we have to look for bargains within deals, but to say that they have no bargains is not correct.

Would rather buy from dse for the same price .
          http://www.dicksmith.com.au/earphones-headphones/sennheiser-…

At least then there are store fronts to deal with if required.
Postage is also less than Catch of the day as well.

        • @mongballs: If you purchase from COTD you still get a DS Tax Invoice, so if you have any issues you can deal with Dick directly and not have to go through COTD.

  • The price on the Sony TV looks to be average. David Jones even considers it RRP,

Galaxy Tab 4 8" is a decent price. Finally something to use my remaining credit on. $188.95 shipped ain't that bad.

Bought 40pk AA's and 4x4pk AAA's and used the coupon so only had to pay the 7.90$ postage.

    • Not sure why that got a neg?

Anyway my 'order' arrived today. They shipped the wrong stuff though. Rather than a 40pk AA's and 4x4pk AAA's I got 4x40pks of AA. WTF am I supposed to do with 160x AA batteries?

Yeh the 2TB hard drive is not the best deal…
