    Bizarre.. I accidentally signed into the AU store this morning without checking the post entirely and it worked. I didnt change any of my area settings either.

    Does this mean that there are no region locking to these freebies? Just tried it again on US and AU sites and didnt need to change.

      Terraria is excellent
      Kemco RPG — they are always good value
      Five Nights at Freddys is supposedly pretty good.

      Apps I actually use ATM are:

      Plex
      Root Explorer (some functions require root though you can use it as a normal file explorer without root)
      Tunein Radio

      I have read (but not played) that Anomaly Warzone Earth HD is very good. Tentatively I would also recommend Worms 3 if you like that sort of game.

      The Muscular System Manual: The Skeletal Muscles of the Human Body is $70 normally

    Anyone have problems with the app store not letting them install games? Only just got the app store yesterday and I have tried downloading Hitman go 5 times and every time it finishes, tries to install, says "app not installed" and starts downloading it again.

    Very frustrating.

        Yeah, needed to to even get the app store installed. Seems it is not downloading the app fully for some reason. Checking with ES file explorer the downloaded app is about 2mb smaller than the size it says is downloading on the app store.

    I haven't downloaded apps from Amazon before. I have the app downloaded now and signed in. Am I meant to search for these apps individually to download or is there a bundle?

      I was able to download them from the site after installing and signing in to the app. Then in the amazon app they were all under "My Apps" and I just had to press install.
      It seems that after I got the amazon store to work the website recognised my phone and allowed me to download them.

        It was a joke comment in relation to a joke of a situation!
        And it would now appear to be more of a joke as mods are now allowing people to pick apart the guts of deals and repost them as their own so long as it's not contained within the title!
        I guess that means when someone like TA posts a list of free songs or food vouchers that I can now go in and repost every individual one on there as my own finding, or posting every pair of jeans for a 40% off Jeanswest sale, then imagine the postings from Coles or Woolies!
        Some interesting times ahead…

    Can someone explain what Plex is and how to use it? I opened up the app on my tablet and connected it to my chromecast on my tv but I cant seem to get it to recognise the media on my device. I assumed it just let you stream movies on your tablt onto your tv? Or is there more to it then that?

      you need to install a media server on your pc or something to host the media and then you will be able to see it on your phone/chromecast or whatever to view the movies/shows etc

        thanks for the reply. So say you are using your phone and you access the media off it. Will your computer need to be on for it to be able to stream to your chromecast? I'm guessing yes?

          i've never tried streaming media off the phone so i don't know if you can do it.
          i know you can watch media from the PC on your phone not sure if it goes the other way around
