Advertised opening was 10am. I got there on the dot and doors were already open. Must have already been 25 people in there. They had 2 x 2TB for $89. I settled for the 1.5gb for $75.

Nunawading store opened at 10. First one to walk in. None on the self…stocks shows two available. find out one of their staff already took care of those…I assume for their mates. CenterCON..end up buying Seagate 2GB HDD for $77 from TGG.
Wasn't staff. Some random dude got both, but staff had no idea as to stock levels or whereabouts of the units.
The guy was at the counter paying for them, and staff were going back and forth trying to locate stock (for others that had asked). Nek minnit, sold out.
It's the same one as per your link. They had only 1 left at Nunawading store with shelf price $96 and 20% off on that….approx $77 it cost.
That's a desktop, not portable HDD
Came back from the Sunshine store empty handed. It was just sheer madness. There was at least half an hour wait in the queue.
For OZB deal like this, you really need to be there at 10AM.

I got to the hawthorn store at about 1020ish and there were no more $89 2Tbs or 1.5Tbs… Disappointing.
That's so unfortunate, I got there at 10:45 and they gave me the Ultra for $89. You could go back and try.
Does any one want the MyPassport shipped? I got an ultra instore for $89 in the end. So I have an order placed for the advertised (non-ultra) version but not yet paid for (elected bank transfer) that I will cancel if no one takes it. Assuming they let us change order billing/shipping info.
