They seem to match the Digidirect Deals

Will need to include shipping costs unless you can pick it up.

Starts Midnight 25th according to their site but looks like we are already seeing marked down prices.

My Personal Fav is the Fuji X100T which is currently my goto camera.

Enjoy!

Remember Canon Double Cashback, Olympus Cashback.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2014

  • They seem to match the Digidirect Deals

Their Canon 70D price is more expensive than DigiDirect

  • Their sigma 17-50mm f2.8 is sooo expensive @ $755 :/

  • Their A7 range is meh as well :(

  • +1

Prices increased first before this promotion and now advertised "up to 10% saving".
Prices are exactly the same as the prices (increased prices) before this promotion,as of 10:35am 26 Dec 2014, even though it has been advertised as "up to 10% saving" now.
Hang on, some of the items are even more expensive, not the same.

    What a fake promotion!

Better off going to DigiDirect for some genuine promotion.

    • Either way their prices are still a lot cheaper than other places. Their Canon EF-S 10-22MM 1:3.5-4.5 is still only $629 whereas the lowest price anywhere else in Australia is $699. That's still a bargain if you ask me.

      • I am not saying their prices are all bad. I used to buy from them and that is why I always followed their update. What matters is the way of doing business. The boxing day promotion they have this year is really dishonest and disgraceful to their customers.

    • Checked the lens I was waiting for and has dropped from 1179 to 1142.. though I think no longer free postage and hardly the 10% I was hoping for. However (AFAIK) it is Aust stock.. compared to 1150 at digi direct which is not Aust stock and cheaper than the popular HK retailers. So still tempted…

edit: seems digi direct is local as well as I was checking the canon website to check on camerapro and they were also listed???

      • digi is aussie as well

      • As far as I know, DigiDirect don't sell grey import stock.

I was looking at the canon 16-35 f4 IS as well!

I was about to purchase on Monday but I heard talks of a 10% sale, so I waited, but 1142 is hardly 10% :(

        • I am impressed you knew what lens I was talking about! Yeah.. hardly 10%.. sub $1100 and I would have purchased..

    • Hi,
Thanks for your post. As you have noted there was as delay in a number of items price updates due to the current way the system processes price changes (most of these have long since been rectified).
Having said that, the vast majority of products (in stock) from brands/categories being promoted are discounts of typically 10% (or in some cases more) than the price pre or post the promotion, where it is advertised as 10% (or "up to 10%"), and as per the advertised price in cases where it is a $ rather than % discount.
Pre-Boxing day specials are continued typically as opposed to added into a new separate promotion.
We have been careful to point out that the promotion excludes out of stock or low stock items, as in our experience it is not beneficial for anyone having a promotion across a broad range of products which customers may have to extended periods for the stock.

      • Hi Rep, I believe the price of the Canon 24 70 F2.8II has no change compare to pre promotion.

The Canon 24 105 F4 was $750ish, whereas it is $829 now; the Sigma 24 105 F4 Art was $760ish, while it is $859 now, even though they are all under the category of boxing day promotion.

There are also some other items that are actually more expensive rather than being discounted.

The prices were actually increased by the name of having boxing day promotion, so people would save some money if they have bought weeks before the "boxing day promotion".

Come on guys, at least show some honesty and respect to your customers, who are not stupid.

BTW, you guys were good before, so what happened?
Your service was good and your prices were competitive before, so if you couldn't afford doing the 10% off, then do something you could afford to.

Also, you guys offered genuine 10% discount last year, so I don't understand why couldn't do it this year?

        • Hi DW,
Thanks for your response. Both of the lenses you noted were of limited or no stock which is why they were excluded from the promotion. The Sigma 24-105mm lens was increased not immediately before the promotion but some time before as stock sold out. This was not then discounted so has remained at the same price. There is now a production hold on these and stock is not expected until at least March. We do not want to inconvenience customers with a special price on something that is 2+ months delivery.
We appreciate the feedback however and always take feedback on board to improve our service and offering.
