Dns4me.net Smart DNS Service $23.32 for 12 Months with FB Like. No Coupon Code Needed

50

I came across this deal when I was looking for a cheap smart DNS provider.
Current getflix deal comes only down to $24.19 after applying both 15% facebook like and 40% off XMAS40 code.
Seems like DNS4me service has some few additional features like IP zones and custom URL overrides.

This is the description from their website.

Unblock most popular media websites

dns4me mainly aims to unblock restricted media websites and provide access to websites that don't show their content outside of US or UK. We offer access to relevant media: TV, radio, movie and music websites like Hulu, Netflix, BBC and more

Keep your original Internet speed

dns4me doesn't affect your speed. Using our DNS/handshaking servers you can enjoy your original speed while streaming video and audio or browsing. Simply changing the DNS servers on your device, you are able to unblock most popular US and UK streaming sites.

Works on most popular OS & devices

It works on PC's and Laptops Windows, Mac and Linux, but in case if you rather use a TV than PC, dns4me works on Apple TV, iOS, Xbox, PS3, Wii, Roku, android etc. and it is really easy to configure.
Can be used in more than one location

dns4me allows you to utilise our network in three different locations (we call them zones) a zone is defined by a public internet IP, so you can watch geo blocked content from your Home, Work, Grandma's no other provider gives this kind of access.

Custom URL overrides as well as predefined services

We allow you to override your own URL's to our servers, want google to think you’re in the UK, no problem just add a custom URL for google.com and specify our UK server. We also have a list of predefined serviced like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon Instant etc. that you as the user can turn on and off and configure you can even change your Netflix region.

Don’t have a fixed IP No problem

In our zone editor you can specify a dynamic DNS like noip.com instead of an IP address so there’s no need to keep updating when your internet drops or your ISP changes your IP.

  • Main benefit of these guys is they allow three locations to use each account concurrently. So can be used by you, your mate and the in-laws all at the same time.

Also these can set up with access provided via your dynamic hostname so you can use a regular dynamic IP update service instead of having to mess around with updating their site as your IP changes (not a problem if you have a static IP, obviously).

I agree it is handy and something that Unblock-US is sorely missing. Getflix do support this as well which is handy.

I used these guys while they were in beta and it was a decent service, but then when they released pricing I switched over to Getflix. Had a weird thing with DNS4ME that even though my IP address automatically updated using my no-IP host name, Netflix regularly threw up errors until I logged into the website and checked to make sure it showed my current IP address and it would then work without a problem.

Haven't had that same issue since on Getflix.
