    FYI southpark is only $13.59 in USA so if you have any usa friends you can get them to buy it for you.

    i was able to get southpark + all the dlc for less then $12

        I buy the majority of my steam games on Amazon. I would bet that no USA would be region locked for AUS. Locking generally exists for those that don't live in 1st world countries

          It happens sometimes when games are censored in some region. I feel like I've heard people mention that South Park is one of those games that will require VPN to activate the game.

          Steam has recently enforced region locking for most of their games. Most of the games from Russia are completely region locked so it's hard to find information regarding region locking.

    I was under the impression it's got the new "non regionable giftable" flag or some crazy thing? Like if your Steam account has an AU CCard or AU address, you will NOT get the uncensored version?

      DRM is clearly marked steam. So definitely Steam.

      Change Amazon billing address to somewhere in the USA

      Redeem received code as per normal

        Have you actually tried it? Because I just bought this and it isn't working.

        Got the code from Amazon but Steam will not redeem it saying it is not available for purchase in your country.

          Actually no. I based my answer on previous experiences with Amazon Steam purchases. Over 50 of them. I don't see Steams recent changes to region locking being the issue. As that was more aimed at CIS countries to stop Russian key sellers. I have been able to redeem games like GTA IV which also shows as Region locked on http://www.steamlocks.tk/index.php. Maybe I had my VPN at the time and never noticed. I can probably help you by gifting you your key if you like?

          All good - I hit up Amazon and told them the situation and they've agreed to refund my money - I'll just purchase through Steam. As you've said, I've purchased a bit through Amazon (As recent as last month) and it was all good then =/

          I'll check it out a little more but it says the game on the UK site is 'Please note this game is not available for sale in Germany, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Korea.'

          So I'm assuming australia should be fine and judging by Sega Uk website.

          Seems region locking only occurs in countries that probably charge even less for digital content ( the only reason I can think of why the region locking doesn't say UK, Australia etc)

          It's still annoying and I can't say the reviews on steam fill me with confidence but it has been a while since I bought this game as a few of the negatives are those who had last year's version.

      Transistor was good enough, the start is a bit slow. I enjoyed Bastion far more. I wouldn't put it in a "must play" pile.

      Its brutal and hell of a lot of fun. If you grab Don't Starve Together and play the beta with mates, it gets even better.

      Don't Starve is a good survival game. If you get Don't Starve, you will also get Don't Starve Together which is the free multiplayer expansion pack when it comes out of the beta this year or you can buy it now for beta access for $5. Characters all have different abilities which is really nice. A bit of humour in the game. Game itself is quite polished, I bought it when it was in pre-release and it was quite smooth even then. There's also a lot of useful mods on steam for this game to make things more interesting/fun/easier

        Yeah, I just normally expect them on the last day not the last 2. But I'm using Enhanced Steam and I've noticed on certain days in Dec 2014 some of the games were cheaper, so I can assume there I missed out on the proper flash sales. That kind of sucks, was hoping they'd do the the lowest sale price featured in the sale because I did miss out on a few here and there.

      Why? Steam edition is optimized and apparently gives better frame rates. Steam edition includes the Acceleration pack. Steam edition is cheaper.

    I think there is a problem with the "historic low" price of Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. It costs 15 Pounds according to the website, which puts it at $28, not ~$24 as you say.

    The historic low would have to go to nuuvem for selling it at ~$23 :)

    I recommend NOT purchasing Dark Souls II, apparently the is a new "HD" version coming out shortly which will be sold as a separate game, anyone who buys now will not get any free upgrades.
