It would be good for travel in remote areas. I've been to plenty of places kids are amazed to see a photo of them selves.
( probably less so now with camera phones everywhere ) but printing out a photo on the spot would be great. Also taking stupid photos with friends while drunk.

You have to buy film to print a digital photo?
Isn't that going backwards?
I thought we stopped buying film and now have digital images on our cameras or phones which we can print on paper.

these are average quality at best, print a stamp sized photo, at very average quality, don't expect too much from these.
a quick ebay search shows the typical Achilles' heel with these portable instant printers, each tiny photo will cost around $1.50! i'll stick to the 9 cent photos at HN/OW thanks, or free @Snapfish if i'm not in a hurry
