I got these sunnies at 15% off with a code, but just found a 50% off code today. So ordered another pair.

Shipping time is usually 5-7 days
Shipping 2 pairs to Melbourne was $10.30

  • I bought one but it never arrive. They dont have a number to call. The only available contact is by email. I got the money back thanks to paypal. Still keen to try again however. Any complaint on the quality ?

  • I cant fault quality of the lenses, the body is all plastic, but good quality plastic. Did notice that there ain't any screws at the hinges, not sure if that's a good thing or not. though interchanging the arms becomes easier without screws.
Had ordered the 1st pair on the 26th arrived on the 5th.

    • Were they posted via Australia Post? Ive got a PO Box and have issues with non australian post packages. Cheers.

  • Edit

  • How easy is it to pop the lens out and swap them?
Thinking about buying 2 and swap the lenses as the particular frame and lens combo I want isn't available but I can get it if I mix n match them.

  • Hi OP,
These look good but I've got a big head! Could you do me a big favour and take some measurements of the model you've got? So like in that pic the arm length as well as the width at the front and at the arms? Thanks!

    • If you've got a big head, forget it.
I don't have a big head and they're pretty small on me.
I've got a pair and can't fault the quality.

    • Can do. Might get back to you tomorrow.

  • Thought I'd give them a try after my Frogskins have become pretty scratched. Thanks OP

I got a couple on the 15% code. Reasonably fast delivery - but they only sent half the order. Customer service via email was good and they sent the missing pair.

Quality wise they seem fine and the lens quality seems good. But be realistic in that they are pretty cheap. Don't expect the world and you'll be happy.

It kills me to pay $200 for a pair of sunnies then sit on them, lose them, scratch them badly.

  • Yeah I love how there's zero information about the size of the glasses. I might have actually bought some if they did have that information.

  • is it really polarised? and to a good degree too? Can somebody confirmed this?

They definitely eliminate glare well. They also mess with light badly. For instance, my dark blue lenses alter colours so that greens seem incredibly bright. Also messes with depth perception to some extent. Not to an acid flashback extent, but definitely an occasional "well, that was sligthly odd".

      • "Also messes with depth perception to some extent"

That would be dangerous with driving no? hmm…still not sure about this glass to be honest…looks to me just like those ones sold at SCA, except with little bit of fame on the net..

Well, they arrived super quickly. Ordered on the 7th, shipped on the 8th, arrived on the 9th. They must have a warehouse in Eastern Creek NSW, because that's where the shipped from.

From the 2 pairs I have tested (Glaciar Black - Nebula One & Carbon Black - Emerald One) out of the 4 pairs I bought, I believe they have the same polarisation as my pair of Oakley Batwolf sunnies. I don't think there is a grading to polarisation unlike darkness/tint; it's either a feature or it's not. Personally I don't see any distortion at all; everything looks normal. I would note that the Emerald One green tint lenses do make everything look blue/purple, which is unexpected and a bit odd; Nebula One would be my choice for driving.

I would say they definitely feel narrow; measuring the space between the arms it is only 13cm wide. I have a narrow head and they feel snug to me, but that's good because they won't fall off. Quality is definitely cheap; logos are printed on and there are mould lines in the plastic where they have come out of the mould, but they seem solid enough and the arms are quite stiff.

At the end of the day at $25 per pair including delivery (based on buying 4 pairs) I think they are good enough as spares to leave in the car, by the door and in the beach bag for when I forget or don't want to use my Oakley's (last pair is spares for the Mrs; she also has Oakley's). I would not pay full price for these even though it is still good value, because I am an OzBargain'er!

Finally thanks gaurav1504 for making me purchase something I didn't really need!

  • Dammnit I missed out. Any one have any more codes? I obviously need to check Ozbargain way more often.
