        It is not the quality of packaging. The previous packs were 10g packs, these ones are 1g packs. Depends on your preferences. Some people prefer to use 1g packs since it doesn't degrade the quality of saffron they are using after opening. Some use a large portion in their cooking hence they prefer the 10g packs.

      Stigmas are heavier than they seem and certainly not airborne like dandelions. Sneezing wouldn't scatter'em around as much as you imagined. ;) And if you drop the whole container, just pick up the stigmas with tweezers. Boiling water will sterilize them later (what a pun!).
