  • do you have a model no?

    Edit: Its a 3000

    • -1

      PSP 3000 model..

      is not hackable…

      • 3000's are now.

I did mine the other day. Thats assuming they ship with an older firmware so you can take advantage of the known exploit. Being sold now you'll be gambling as to what firmware comes pre loaded.

Boo! Hiss! I am growing tired of these CotD style limited-quantity sell-below-cost items that sell out in less than a minute.

    • but you'd be fine with it if you picked something up? :D

      • They are allocated in the first minute.. but if people don't go through with the purchase.. it comes back for sale.. which is how i got mine about 25mins after

  • All gone, I logged in 5 seconds after 12, but still late. But I did score a Wii a while ago.

  • got one, first time ever worked for me lol

  • i had one in my cart, but threw it back to the lions as i didnt need one.

    • Me too

  • -3

I had one in my cart
Looked up eBay to see how much they sell for
    Confirmed my order!!

  • you need to log in BEFORE 12 and then refresh BANG ON 12.

    works nearly every time.

I have scored lots of deals from them.

Traffic is nothing compared to the Lockerz USA deal, 1 MILLION people tried to get on at once.

so, out of curiosity, u guys work with 1day or what?

i was 2 seconds when they had the board up, clicked the link it says "ooppss something"

    • i got one. need to keep refreshing until it says buy now again.

    • you just need to keep refreshing on the screen where it says CURRENTLY ALL ALLOCATED, as everyone slams the website dead on 12pm. Lots of people just do it to see if it will make it to there cart, then the cart gets put back into stock in 20 minutes if they choose not to buy the product.

Ive got a few things using this method.

Hrmmm I think ppl are letting them go out of their cart as the odd 1 is popping up - I actually just managed to pick one up just then..which is 20+mins after 12 AEST!

So…what am I gonna do with a PSP I'll have no idea!

  • Got one just then… very surprised actually… kept waiting for the buy now button, then when I press it it says I'm too slow… but it worked after like the 20th attempt!

This is the first time I actually get something good from these sites :)

  • i got one :) .. and its about 25 mins past the start of the sale!!

Just keep clicking buy now.. if people dont' complete the sale it comes back up.

    • I got a PSPGo for 249 yesterday from shopping square.. now this.. good week.
Also has the 199 DSi yesterday but didn't know what to do with it so i didn't go through with the order

      • What are going to do with so many PSP's?

        • Going to sell my old PSP-1000.. and decide whether i keep the PSP Go or the new 3000 or both.

I'm a gadget freak. What i really want is an xbox 360.. thats the only thing missing from my collection

          • @fma007: So is PSP3k unmoddable? From a quick read it seems most say no?

Edit: have my answer from a recent post - http://www.pspmod.com/forums/custom-firmware/58681-psp-3000-…

All of this would depend on the firmware installed on the PSP. If its beyond 5.03 (5.05 - 5.50 - 6.00 etc) its completely unhackable and you would need to wait for some sort of exploit.

If its 5.03 or below then you can use the ChickHEN exploit to enable homebrew and then use either Custom Firmware Enabler 3.60 (MHU) or GEN-A hen CFW to run emulators and ISO/CSO backups.

For playing any of the later games you would need to decrypt your ripped iso's to play them (not all work but many do).

Bricking on HEN and CFWE or GEN-A is avoidable by just NOT touching the flash or brew that does!

The best bet would be to get yourself one of the bundled 2k PSP's (God of War etc) which have fully hackable motherboards that will allow for 5.00 M33-6 or GEN-B2 full CFW.

            • @blublu: Yeah ChickHen worked on mine. Tried it a few weeks ago.

Best advice if you keep the PSPGo is not to update the firmware. Who knows when or if an exploit will be made apparent.

  • I think they have major problems with their shopping cart system. I had a PSP in my cart and went to checkout within 10 seconds and it disappeared. Not happy. Seems other on their site also having the same problem.

  • got on at 12pm, clicked, got in cart, then an error.
then again, this happens every time a daily or hourly
event comes up on either cotd/shoppingsquare or 1day.

  • +2

tried to click and every time I clicked buy it said error what a croc

  • anyone received their psp yet and can confirm which firmware version it is?
