  • regarding their service, they are a questionable airline.
but cheap flights what can you expect! :D +1

  • Jetstar are also having a sale for the same route if anyone is interested. Travel period is only February though.

  • Tiger has more dates available than Jetstar (at least from the searching I just did). Don't forget that Tiger charges $6 booking fee "per seat", $5 per seat for reserved seats (more for good seats), and $10+ for checked in luggage. Overall it's still a bargain.

Don't forget Jetstar will beat a competitor's fare by 10% if they have a flight within one hour (JQ19 and JQ404 SYD-OOL). I just booked my flight with JQ for $35.10 based upon TT's $39 fare and Jetstar don't charge you the credit card fee under the Price Beat policy.

    • YE YE, I had a 10 minute argument with a young lady while booking RE:luggage costs. But eventually I got Tiger Prices -(10%) -(CC surcharge) = Winner [$298.00 down to $78.30]

      • are u saying tiger also will price beat jetstar??

        • No sorry, Jetstar beat Tigers' price.

          • @super8: oh so u bought jetstar tix with Tiger's Prices -(10%) -(CC surcharge)… we have to book jetstar via phone then (not online)…?

            • @CyberMurning: Yep, call them. The Jetstar flight has to be within an hour of the Tiger flight though

  • +1 for the extra competition on the route

Subject to availability (not available on all flights or days). Seats are limited and may not be available during peak periods or on all flights, public holidays or certain blackout periods or once sold out.

whats the point of the date set through the peak periods when its excluded?
Tried to make a booking and it turned out over $3xx.

    • You can't really expect them to offer $39 to every single flight especially during peak periods.

  • I'd definitely try and use Jetstar's price guarantee instead of flying Tiger.
