Sounds to good to be true - Anyone purchased from them before (apart from the 2059 Feedback on Ebay) ?

    • Very suspicious, lots of positive feedback from people who have received theirs though. Makes you wonder how he/she acquired the cards.

      • The listing was removed by eBay so there could be something dodgy going on here.

        • +1

As I said below, the seller contacted me with my 6 codes via email (I left my email address as a message attached to the order), and said it was removed as he was using digital delivery. All 6 of my codes worked.

        • Ebay removes listings that have items that are non tangible. Ie stuff that you can touch, so any electronic codes are not allowed.

@DinoDucks: what if you send it written on a piece of paper?

        • @morini: haha so what you're selling is a piece of paper with stuff written on it. smart.

Ah ha ha ha let's hope you don't get your codes posted for all to see.

    (FYI they've already been redeemed)

  • Thought you couldn't post random ebay deals on ozbargain unless the store had an extremely high feedback rating?

  • Is this any better (if true) than the frequently discounted Telstra starter SIM packs?
($10-15 for $30, activate on long-life if you don't want the calls and data)

    • $60 Google Play credit for $20 with Telstra starter packs is clearly better value. Or $30 Play credit with the recent Woollies/Telstra deal for $1 is the ultimate so far.

Telstra credit has a maximum $20 restriction on the cost of a single item. With Google Play credit you can purchase things that cost more than $20.

  • Just double checking that google play credit can be used to pay for google play all access subscription?

    • Yes it can and it can also be paid with Telstra prepaid credit

  • Wow that's a great price.

I wonder how he gets them.

I just purchased the offer. Thought I'll take the risk. Paid by Paypal.
The seller moves very fast. I received the code to redeem via email in under 15 minutes of paying.
Indeed after entering the codes, my credit is now $40 more.
Haven't bought anything yet. Just thought I'll pass on my experience.

  • I can said the same thing as Little Duck, made a purchase then receive the code via ebay message, type in the codes via https://play.google.com/redeem and my account is now $40 more. Thanks for the great find OP.

Bought 2 lots, made an offer for $52, accepted. Saved $4.

Seller was bloody fast, emailed me the codes within 2 minutes of paypal clearing.

Codes all valid, Now have $80 credit on play store.

Don't forget cash rewards 2% cashback via ebay

  • Err, price is now $28…

    • +2

Make an offer for $26, mine was accepted.

  • Edit - repeated info

  • Slightly off topic: what bargains do you all spend your Google Play credit on? I've got $16 left on a Telstra SIM that will expire in a few days. Any outstanding game/book/song deals right now?

    • purchase movies in HD and watch on telly when you have free time, Inception for eg.

  • damn… missed out. Would of loved this!

  • +1

Bought at $28 because that's still a bargain (until I figure out that Telstra thing) - but haven't received me codes within a few minutes like the other posters..

  • I bought one and they took the list out. Will I get the code?

  • +4

I messaged the seller for the codes and he said to expect them by 6pm

    • +1

Cool, will wait and see. Might be best for others to wait before buying though? I'll post an update when I get mine.

      • Got it! All good. Good deal.

Just received my codes by email.
He said item was removed from ebay due to digital delivery.

      • Do you have a link to the seller's ebay page? my ebay 'track order' link doesn't work, seemingly because I was in guest mode on ebay.

      • boo… still waiting for mine, purchased about 1hr ago. Oh well, paypal to the rescue if not received by tomorrow. Received about 2 mins after whinging. Too bad we can't leave feedback since the item's removed…

I have both the sellers email address and he gave me his phone number in case I needed to talk.
If people need to contact him privately message me and I will give them to you.

        • Could you please pass me his details

Also messaged seller and was sent codes with the same explanation as previously given. Codes worked, very happy.

I reckon these are from telstra promotion, they were offering $20 play store gift card with some telstra branded phones. I bought one for $24, last month form Harvey Norman and redeemed the gift card and expiry was same as this.

  • What is this telstra offer you guys are referring to?

They have another listing now but $15.90 for 1 x $20, I submitted an offer at $14 each & got declined - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Discount-20-Google-Play-Credit-to…

    • +1

my offers were also rejected automatically. anyone know what the accepted price is now? They were recently $13.95-$14 several times at phonebot over the last month or so, so this deal is now starting to sound marginal as a bargain.

      • Not too sure, they have just taken my money. Hoping for %27 after cashrewards though.

  • Is deal still good? If i can skip the telstra part I wouldn't mind divesting my self from tel-coms.

  • Bugger, missed out, thanls OP

  • OK, so I'm probably being really nosey here, but what are people using this much google play credit for?
Movie rentals? In-app purchases? Navigation software? Lots and lots of apps?

    • +1

Google play all access music mostly

  • My offer of 14.70 was automatically accepted
