We bought one of these in November last year, very happy with it, the screen is great and it is fast enough for anything we have thrown at it. The battery life was tested on flights playing movies on a MicroSD card and it wasstill showing 70% after a 8hr flight.
Hows the speed of the CPU?
Hmmm, nobody answered this so I will answer. It should technically be on par with Snapdragon 800 in terms of CPU, around 600 in terms of GPU, I think that's what I've read from the review/benchmarks. Don't take my words on it though, it's been fairly long time since I've seen that. So in theory it should be on par with high end Android tablet.
Though that being said, I've heard compatiablity issues on Androids with Atom CPUs, so how well it would perform would depend on optimisation and such. I've heard some apps really don't work well with Atom CPUs. So performance, and user experience, would really depend on optimisation.
So, the bargain here is that it is One Dollar less than the Harvey Norman price?
