Logitech Speaker System Z623 2.1 Speakers $105 Free Postage @ LTS eBay

220

Kept having second thoughts when these were posted regularly here. Elsewhere seems to be around the ~$140 mark and the deal tends to be pretty popular around the ~$100 range. Sold by an authorised Logitech reseller (Itsaustralia) who seem to have 100% pos feedback.

Edit: Looks like they were $135 only yesterday, so not sure how long this deal will last

Currently $104 @ Bing Lee (NSW & ACT)

    • $5 shipping for everyone else.

I have noticed the Bing Lee price too and was thinking that I could get my local Office Works to price match (-5%) which would bring the price to $98.80.

Only cheaper price I have heard of is $89 at The Good Guys recently and another deal for about $94, so this would be pretty close and overall I think a very good price?

Would this hopefully work with Office Works? I have never tried it before with them.

Good deal. +1 I have these speakers. Would recommend.

Exactly the same, they pump out a fair amount of sound and bass

Had mine for a few years now I highly recommend them.

I bought it before christmas from TGG @ 99. I am happy with purchase.

  • Would these be ok for a bedroom TV or a SoundBar be better?

    • +1

I'd go for a sounbar. The virtual surround from them is pretty darn good.

  • Got these speakers. Very loud.

I have these speakers, and for the price, they are great. BUT… They have a large dip in volume in the midrange, correlating to a male's singing voice. I was disappointed when I listened to them for the first time, but overall they are worth the money.

Not much of an audiophile myself, but this is exactly how you explain the downside of these speakers.

As above - vast chasm of important frequencies missing. Going from some budget bookshelf speakers to these was really shocking after reading the great reviews.

After having some time to adjust to them I'm happy with the purchase. Plenty of power, pretty good for movies/TV stuff - great for hiphop. If you're used to PC speakers or are using this as a secondary set I'd give them a thumbs up.

  • i got the old Logitech X-230, is the Z623 worth the upgrade ??

    • Yes Ive had both in the past currently have the Z623

Bought these specifically for Australia Day Triple J Hottest 100 countdown. Certainly didn't disappoint over a large pool area.
    Recommend! ^_^

No reason to buy logitech when you can get these - https://voll.com.au/shop/b44 - for a $100

    • are these a much better speaker? Can these operate without amplifyer?

      • +2

        yes much better, need amp.

    • +1

they're not amplified, and they don't have a sub. different thing..

      • I have no idea about speakers. Which one is better when it comes to price wise?

        • +2

Xavi, the Voll are better speakers (overrated but better)
the problem is on top of that you need to add an amp and a sub to get decent bass so they probably end up costing twice as much. and there are other better options at that price range.

Desktop speakers (PC speakers) will be much cheaper than bookshelf/monitor speakers but they're in a different class.

I personally will only buy any speaker that uses a wood or MDF enclosure, anything plastic will sound tinny.

        • Thank you for the information, much appreciated.
