The last deal from Kmart was $7 for 60 Quantum tablets

Good price, but far out 240 tablets…

    • A year supply. :)

    • +1

IF you use your dishwasher 4-5 times a week you'll go through it easily in a year.

I heard Classic is not as good as the Quantum? I've been using the Quantum and absolutely had no complain. :)

      • +1

Don't think my dishwasher would know the difference
But at 17.3 cents per tab, my wallet will :)

      • +1

Quantum is better, but I only really notice the difference on wine glasses. For everything else, I don't care.

  • Just recently picked up 360 Finish Quantum Powerball Lemon for $95.40 from COTD and I thought that was a good deal…this looks slightly better?

EDIT: actually no shipping to perth is more so looks like COTD was better…yay

    • You are only allow 1 box according to COTD, am I missing something?

      • They were selling 3 x boxes in one lot and allowed 2 of those…just realised that I used a free shipping code on the wife's account so this deal is probably cheaper anyway.

    • Ya know how much IKEA stuff is made in Poland?
Such is the EU, and most of the modern world.

  • Thanks OP. Ordered a years supply

  • Need the one with Rinse included

    • The powerball is the rinse aid.

Otherwise Vinegar works well as a rinse aid.

      • Oh I see! Thanks for that. So what's the different between this and the tablet ones Finish tablets with the Red ball in the middle?

        • +2

This is suppose to be better AND more expensive than the regular Powerball. Whether it cleans better is debatable.

Gillette use have have disposable razor blades with 1 blade, then 2 blades, then 3 blades.

Now they have introduced one with 5 blades.

Is the new 'improved' 5 blades better? 5 is more than 3, so it must be!

The only thing that is guaranteed is Gillette makes more selling the more expensive 5 blade razors. Most people will not notice the difference in performance between the 3 and 5 blade versions.

Decent deal, but have heaps of Fairy tablets left from the last sale at Coles.

Having used both, they both clean dishes very well, but I think the Fairy tablets cleans my dishwasher much better.

    • +1

Heard about the Fairy tablets also perform similar if not better, looking for people with experience on both products…

      • +5

I've used both, and find fairy a lot better. We had a heap of free Finish (60 maybe) with purchase of the dishwasher, and found slight water stains, and a few spots not always clean on greasier items…thought this was normal. We went for the powerball, and it was better so we stuck with powerballs instead for a while. The bottom of the dishwasher around the drain and spinning arms slowly built up grease and grime - once again we thought was normal, and cleaned it manually about once a month - though you could see it building up again after a week or so. We got some Fairy through a free trial pack here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/158395 and they cleaned all the grease and grime off instantly…i was pretty amazed tbh. Also no streaks on anything, and the dishwasher looks spotless everywhere, even around the drain. Fairy is far better in my experience, not often I ever notice the difference in anything, but I have with the dishwasher tablets. The standard fairy cleaned the dishes about the same as the finish powerball, both pretty clean and hardly ever a spot on anything, but only fairy cleans the actual dishwasher too….it still looks like new, and that's all I buy now :)

        • Very interesting. The dishwasher gets installed soon and I've been looking for this type of review. Thanks. :)

  • Coupon code is after you click the "checkout now" and enter your shipping address. I believe the code is the same as the new user discount.

  • I recently purchased a $2500 dishwasher with Zeolith Technology and use the Homebrand dishwasher powder, its about $2.14 for 1kg so that prob works out at 5c per wash?, I have noticed all my oily dishes are clean. My question is, why do people steer clear from these cheap brands, does it ruin your dishwasher or something? I have used these Powerballs before and the only thing I have found is they are quite convenient compared to the powdered ones, but do they do anything else?

    • +1

Same reason people steer from a cheap/reasonable machine brand?

      $2500?!

    • Not all of wish to purchase a $2,500 machine with 'Zeolite' Technology. Zeolite Technology help it dries faster, but doesn't necessarily mean it cleans better.

I'd wager my $1,000 Asko with Fairy tablets will clean better than your $2,500 machine with Homebrand dishwasher powder. You didn't mention what rinse aid you use, but use any available on the market.
