    Dont worry about the below. I have just realised that there is a post about it.

    Not sure if it was a targeted offer however, I got an email yesterday afternoon (Friday) saying that if I link my PayPal, I will get a $20 voucher. Did it and got the $20 after 30 seconds of validating my PayPal. They did however deduct $0.01 from my PayPal account. I would assume this is for validation purposes.

    Maybe worth checking???

      How do you know no one had used your referral code? Unless someone posts they used it, it's possible many people already have used it. Credit is not applied to your account until after their first cab fare.

          That has been explained in previous deal - even OP hasn't got it yet.

          Also both must use credit within 30 days. So no cab fare by person using your code within 30 days, no credit for you!

      Referral credit lasts 30 days - see email ("Hurry, your credit is valid for the next 30 days!") or last deal. PayPal credit did not state use by date.

    I havnt had the chance to try booking but I have a few questions I want to clear up.
    -Do the credit expire? If not assuming you can accumulate these dollars over time.
    -is there a limit minimum spend with these credits?
    -lastly how exactly does the credit work? Assuming you hit the call taxi button, the. The driver turns up then somehow they charge your credits automatically, Just not to sure with this but they do charge the remaining from your paypal/credit card.

      Yeah, you request a cab, the driver calls you, tells you where to find them, then you take the cab to the destination, then they tell you the fare as per usual.
      Then they enter the fare into their GoCatch app, it comes up on your phone saying "authorise payment of $xx" or what have you. You click ok, the driver gets notification that its all good, and you're on your way.
      Easy! Even with the driver never having used it before, it wasn't hard.

    So this deal just saved my ass…
    I went out with friends, had no cash, went to get cash out and the ATM ate my card. Called bank, said nothing I could do til tomorrow morning.

    I decided to head home but had no money for a cab and the busses had stopped. So, I caught a taxi with this, knowing that even if the $35 credit I had wouldn't cover the fare, I could pay the rest with Paypal (aka no card required).

    Anyway I was in Brisbane city so it took like 2 minutes to find my cab, caught it home, he said "Just $28.50", he put it in the GoCatch app, it added $1.50 booking fee and bob's your uncle. Got home all safe and sound.

    Had $65 credit from the PayPal deal and various codes. Upgraded android and reinstalled app. Now only has $30 :( not sure what happened there, does anybody else who also had $65 revert back to $30? Or does an uninstall + reinstall do that to voucher code credits?

      That definitely means PREFERRED $15 credit has been withdrawn, along with another $20.

      The only emails confirming credit I got were for PayPal & referral from Wiki.

      No confirmation was received for
      PREFERRED
      WELCOME
      WELCOME01
      So guessing those were withdrawn after redeeming.

      I wonder if GoCatch will claw those amounts back from accounts where those credits have already been use to pay cab fare???

      Sorry EC, revoked my + not on deal, but GoCatch withdrawal of credit :-(

        I got $35 from the code of REFERRAL, PREFERRED, and WELCOME. Today open apps, got $30 left. So I guess gocatch doesnt withdraw any particular code credit, just cut everyone's cake to $30.. lol

          Yes, that's probably the case. That might mean $10 referral credit from someone using you code will not be applied if you have more than $20 credit.
          So spend up!

    These guys are a joke.

    I booked a cab with them for the first time and the guys says he knows all about Go Catch and has used it before. When it came time to pay, he wouldn't accept it and kept insisting to be paid by cash. I have NEVER had a problem with Uber whether it's with credit or with a proper payment.

    Go away, Go Catch. You are just annoying people by removing credit after you've let people add it to the account.

      Did u pay using app in the end? I left a negative feedback for a driver and they promptly warned him (well, they claim they have. Not sure if it's real)
