I know it's cheap, but if I were buying a router I'd be looking for one with Wireless AC & 5GHz support. Something like this for $11 more seems like a better option.

  Not available at my MSY.. Do you have any other suggestions for AC\Gigabit?
  I would prefer a ADSL 2 modem\router, as my modem is about 15 years old..

Pretty sure I picked up the Belkin N600 dual band ADSL modem router equivalent of this one for about $50 (pretty sure is was OzB that tipped me off to it!) about 18 months ago, so agree this is not a bargain in comparison.

Not a bargain, have seen Belkin N600 dual band modem router for much cheaper. Try staticice.
