There are 8 Celeb teams to add, so that's 9/16 done already.

With a whopping $329,000 worth of cash and prizes up for grabs over the course of the season, there is no reason not to play NRL Fantasy this year.

The overall champion will take out the $20,000 major prize, plus a trip for two to the 2015 Telstra Premiership Grand Final, including flights, accommodation and tickets.

But there are many more ways to win.

The simplest? Start up a 16-team head-to-head Fantasy league. The first 2,500 coaches who create and fill such a league before Round 1 will win an annual NRL Digital Pass subscription worth $90 – allowing you to watch every NRL game live on your phone or computer.

Early League Creator prize: The first 2,500 eligible participants to create a full 16 team competition before Round 1 of the 2015 Telstra Premiership commences will each receive an Annual NRL Digital Pass Subscription, valued at $90.00. The total value of the NRL Fantasy League Creator prize pool is up to $225,000.00

All winners, including any Subsequent Prize Winners will be notified by email within 2 days of determining the relevant winners. The winners’ names will be published on the Website on the dates the winners are decided.

    No NRL pass and the season has started. If anyone's gotten the pass can they please confirm here.. that way we aren't all left hanging.

    I got the AFL pass and it's working as intended. I finalised my NRL league ~2pmn Wed 25/2/15, which was quite early relative to my AFL league completion.

      I can wait a few more rounds. If I need to watch games, I can do it at home with Livestream and a German proxy. I'd ideally like to be able to watch games when out and about (unmetered data on Telstra), but I can wait.

      Hi Chuppa,

      Early League Creator winners have been notified by email. If you have not received an email, you unfortunately were not a winner.

          It does. Have sent a followup e-mail.

          Clause 24 of the Terms and Conditions https://fantasy.nrl.com/help/index.html#/terms states “…The winners’ names will be published on the Website on the dates the winners are decided.”

          I can't find the published winners anywhere, so have asked to be pointed to the correct location. Telstra should know better than this.

          @Chuppa: LOL… the junior marketing person you're talking to is probably freaking out and now the lawyers are being consulted. They probably didn't expect a horde of angry Ozbarginers to be combing over the T&Cs….

          In any case, the service is RUBBISH. I got the two month free trial and I can't even run it at full screen on my Nexus 5. Quality of the video takes me back to the VHS days… So no big loss.

          I'll stick to Livestream.

    No surprises, Fanhub(the people who are now running NRL Fantasy) are shoddy, they are unreliable and go missing whenever things break - ask anyone who played early last year.

    NRL Fanhub are a disgrace and the NRL and their sponsors should be taking legal action against them for failure to adequately provide their services.

    Better late than never. I would say the limitations on the 2015 version of the app (no full screen, location limitation, no free to air) are making it hard to believe its worth $90, but free is free and that's worth something.
