Great for those who missed out on the Dicksmith sale. Got the Charge HR and I personally think it is amazing and quite accurate when it comes to calories (when you set the watch to workout session). Great motivation booster. Do your 10,000 steps a day people!!! Would recommend. Not a rep.

    • How do you put it in workout mode?

      • +1

Hold the button to initiate workout, then hold it again when finishing a workout. It's more of a timer but it's great to look at your progress on the dashboard (e.g heart rate, time and calories burnt).

  • I'm on the market for a new TV, anyone has experiences with the TCL 50'?

I am still waiting for a good deal like the Sony on boxing day for around $500

  • Is this online only? Can you go into a store and get them? Vivosmart looks good (the only waterproof band).

    • Nvm 'in store and online (selected offers available in store only)' Thanks for sharing :)

Hmm - clicked on a link and the online chat says
"Hello Ozbargainer - Need any advice, talk to a expert now."

  • Does anybody kjnow when the other Fitbit Charge HR colours will be released?
    I want tangerine..

    • +1

I thought it was only available in black and plum?

      • o.O
i'm not sure but the official website has Black, Blue, Plum, Tangerine???

Or are you saying Australia will only release Black and Plum, not Blue or tangerine??

        • I would say that is the case.
I think u can only get black for the FITBIT charge

        • @Hirolol:

I think you meant FITBIT charge HR.

  • Something fishy with the link to the console deal with Watchdogs. When you add it to cart, watchdogs drops off, and only The Crew is there. I spoke to an online chat guy at HN and he wont honor the $488 with Watchdogs and Crew deal! Shame that!

Yeah sorry m8 they must have made a mistake and removed it after I posted the deal :(

  • Has anyone got away with using 2 if those $5 off vouchers in separate purchases?

    • Register separate email addresses ;-)

  • I'm all for being fit- but why people keep buying fitbits absoltely baffels me. Single stupidest invention/most overpriced piece of tech in the last while.

Seriously- the info they've got from them is incredible. They know everything you do, where you go, what you eat.

Nuts. (puts on tin foil hat)

    • The current rage is all about "health and fitness". Marketing would have you believe these devices make you fitter and healthier.

Only if you put it into action though. Just like if you joined a gym and didn't go, you wouldn't see any results.

i want one for mainly the Heart Rate Monitoring and sleeping monitoring. of course all the additional functions are nice too.
I am a gym regular and focus on weight loss/fat burning - and knowing more about my heart rate during the workouts could let me know if i am working hard enough or being a softy.

I get bad sleep and always feel tired and my gf says i often wake up due to snoring. not sure if a sleep monitor can helkp determine my "quality of sleep" though. Can anybody comment more about the sleep monitor function?

      • howard you might wanna get a sleep study done, it's free under Medicare once a year, get your GP to refer you one. I got the same issue and through that turn out I have mild sleep apnea lol

        • will visit the GP. thanks for your tip ;)

  • U can sync the FITBIT with your flyby account so that when u reach 10k steps U get 10 flybys points.
Free points makes me a happy ozbargainer

    • I think that's only for Medibank customers

    • Do 10k steps everyday during March and you will receive $100 Coles credit or 20000 Flybuys points.
