          Mine is gear one as well. However I couldn't find the comparison for gear one. From that link, I prefer not to go for LG and jump to gear 2 neo

    I still have my G watch in the box from the last deal. Still using the pebble from the previous deal to that, it seems to fit the bill for me. I mainly got the G watch because I was curious but I haven't even opened the box yet

        Basically I bought it the day my Pebble arrived, and in typical fashion it was an impulse buy on the basis of FOMO (the deal was only on for 3 days from memory). The upshot being that by the time it arrived I was quite happy with the Pebble (yeah I probably phrased that a bit lazily the first time)

    I have Google Now disabled on my phone (save battery). Does Google Wear function with Google Now disabled? Or is it completely independant from Google Now?

    edit: Nvm, looks like all Google Now does is push notification cards to your watch. Not as integral to the smartwatch experience as I expected.

    Is the LG G watch worth it at this price? I know it's basically an alpha version for Android Wear but at this price it's pretty cheap.

      I have been using it for a few months now and the main advantage is that it helps save battery on the phone. I can read and view emails or whatsapp messages on the watch without having to turn the large G3 screen on. Have also used it frequently to reject calls during meetings (if I haven't turned the phone to silent)

    $599 is not going to be a deal on the S5 for long. I'm in the market for an AU S5 and I'm not anywhere near tempted. With the S6 imminent, it needs to go lower. $500.

    G Watch code also works on White/Gold version although it's $10 more. I ordered white cause thought black was a little too plain IMO.

    Was originally after a Pebble but thought for this price I'd try Android Wear.

    I still feel $599 is too expensive for S5. The price should drop further when S6 is released in Australia in a month or so.
