Anyone recently won anything? Been playing for 3 days and have made it into the the 50 weekly 'nugs' but still are yet to win anything other than coins, which is useless because I have already brought everything.

After my $25 win, I've basically stopped playing. It's a lot more effort than the coke comp and I'm amounting heaps of useless coins/nugs (charge all the way through and try and get to nug land with golden nug suit and 20+ nug multiplier for quick play)
Plus the GC is pretty restrictive in terms of you can't use it as a part funding option if paying purely by credit card, so you gotta spend the whole amount. I've just spent mine at JB online with some Optus JB cards with the pick up option, with 10c left on the Visa card.
$25 won't buy you much these days so buy from a retailer that has a pick up option, and combine with GCs from optus comp if possible

Didn't think about buying a gift card with it actually so that's an option. I tend to use my FF cards if i do buy anything big for the points though. Planning to buy a tv in a couple months when i move house so i guess i'll add it with the JB vouchers from Coke Comp.

For anyone wondering the real winner is the weekly draw. Assuming you have entry into all 5, there chances of winning one of them is half a percent. Much better than the lottery (although playing for a lot less money) and it seems getting into the top 1000 each week is a lot easier than winning the 25-100 gift cards. 4 draws left so 0.4 percent chance to win!

Nope, you were probably in the "store" menu and accidentally pressed purchase for one of the items through the use of the in-game currency so that's why it said no refunds

You can use the in-game currency to buy upgrades for your character in the game. So it was asking you if you want to spend the in-game money to purchase an upgrade. Nothing to do with the prize chance, no worries.

Upgrading your character makes the game easier/faster, so it makes it easier to get to 20,000 points. But it doesn't change your chances of winning once you hit 20,000 points.

Sadly I don't have any tips for winning a visa card, everything I have learnt so far is to obtain higher scores and get achievements. I have probably found enough bugs to be on the internal beta testing team lol. Mainly glitches that help you get a few of the harder to reach achievements.
I am having a few issues unlocking a few achievements and I was wondering if anyone else that has unlocked them could help out?
Hat Trick - Logged in 3 days in a row.
I am not sure if this means playing 3 days in a row or signing out and signing back in for 3 days in a row. Regardless, doing either of these things does not unlock this or the other 2 "Logged in x days in a row" achievements.
Lord of the counterfeiters - Activate 25 Coin Multiplier power ups.
I assumed this meant the Piggy power ups as the other ones specify the Vac Pac and Slo-mo power ups (Vac Pac and Sloth, oh damn you sloth!)
I have definitely unlocked 25 of the Piggy power ups but again no go with the achievement. Only thing I can think of is activating 25 Piggy power ups in the single game.The Luck Award - 1 Prize Claimed.
I have won 1x $25 Visa Card, this achievement still didn't unlock. I then tried to redeem the card code to get the number etc and that didn't work.
So anyone who has these achievements, would you be able to give some guidance please? As stated, I have found a few glitches and this may have stuffed up these achievements? But if someone has only played a few games and only have a handful of achievements (or don't care about achievements) , would they be willing to delete the app and re-install and see if you keep the achievements and coins?
I am running the iOS version on an iPhone 6.

For those who arnt able to access this app on their phone/tablet device there is a way to play it on your computer.
First you will need Bluestacks which you can get from http://www.bluestacks.com/ after that Simply download the app on bluestacks through the google play store. (bluestacks is free, there is a premium version but it will stay free if you 'download' their apps from the playstore, just simply uninstall them when they install.)
Since this is a tilt game you will need to make some adjustments.
1: Make sure you have hidden folders turned on and hide protected operating system files is unticked.
2: You now need to make some commands in the maccas play app, to do this you will need to go to start -> My computer ->C Drive-> Program data -> Bluestacks -> User data -> inputmapper.
3: Once you are in inputmapper right click and make new text document, open it and paste the following in:[origin]

Up = Swipe Up
Down = Swipe Down
Left = Swipe Left
Right = Swipe Right
Z = Tilt Absolute (0,-20) Return
X = Tilt Absolute (0,20) Return[guidance]
Right = Move to Left Lane

Mode = Tilt4: Once that is completed rename the text document to air.com.mcdonalds.dropintomaccas.cfg .
5: Open up bluestacks and boot up the application, you can now move left and right with the Z X keys and use your left click on your mouse to pin drop/drift drop.
If anyone has any questions just chuck me a reply/inbox message and i will do my best to help you.
Edit: You can adjust the Tilt absolute values on X and Z, i would not recommend going lower than .15 and no higher than .45 or else it makes it too hard to make sharp turns.
I've been looking for ages for a way to do this! Thanks so much. Bluestacks runs so much faster than my cheap tablet too, I usually just have so much drop time to smash through everything in a straight line down and pick up whatever coins I get.

What exactly is not working with it? does the app install?
If so, open up bluestacks and click on bluestacks settings, after that click on manage applications, when the list pops up tick the tablet box on drop into maccas. save and restart bluestacks.
@jten: App is already installed if that changes things, i press the Z and X buttons and nothing happens. Copied your code exactly into a new file in the required folder.
Update bluestacks already if you havnt.
After that right click on start and open windows explorer, from there clicks on 'Apps' under libraries to the left, right click on drop into maccas and go to properties.
Under the shortcut tab you should be able to see something like this : "C:\Program Files (x86)\BlueStacks\HD-RunApp.exe" -p air.com.mcdonalds.dropintomaccas -a (((air.com.mcdonalds.dropintomaccas))).AppEntry .
Make sure yours looks the same, the folder you made earlier and renamed needs to be named the last part of the file extension (ive put 3 brackets around it). Make sure you end the file name with .cfg instead of the .txt
Edit: if that does not work them im not sure what will :\ it took me about an hour of reading around online to teach myself how to do it.

Any tips for eating all the nuggets & sauce, it's very hard to eat all the nuggets, and I scored many times over 60000 Nd no win every time coins.. I think it hard to win untill you can't eat nuggets $ sauces..?
As long as you get over 20,000 points at the end you have a chance to win.
The amount of nuggets you get don't play a part (speculation) at the moment im testing it by getting 20,000+ and not going into any holes, once i win by doing that i will let you know.

Right. We we are done with this comp. Just for peoples info, on my account we have now won a $25, $50, $100 and the $1000 online gift cards, so it is possible to win multiple times on the same account.
Also be interesting if the same account you can multiples of the same amount, as ours doesn't have that. Maybe you can only win $25 once, then you get $50 and so on.
The comp is very hard, and I like other people to have a chance to win prizes too. So good luck ozbargainers! I think I've taken more then my fair share.

I won my one $25 voucher at 630am and others seem to win in the very early hours. I also had about 90000 points on the round I won.
Curious if even though 20k is the cut off, if you still need to get more points. Maybe prizes are associated with getting within a certain points score range for a drop within a given time block?

I was playing to get as high as score as possible game I played. With the nugzone golden nug and the x20 powerup for nugs I was clearing over 150k most games. Certainly all my wins have been in the low 6 figure scores. The $100 was my highest score yet at around 400k.
When i first started I was playing getting to 20k then killing the man as soon as possible thinking that 20k = entry = more chance of winning. But this wasn't the case for me, I have been more successful trying to beat my score every game. I also played more as I found the challenge of beating scores was fun instead of grinding for Visa cards.

I have personally won 2 x $25 visa gift cards and I was wondering what the best way to use them for would be? i don't do a lot of online shopping, mainly get groceries, and $25 doesn't buy you much these days. It would be easier if they could be cashed or used to put credit in a paypal account, is this possible?
