Did check that they had also ended their ebay listing for the product otherwise I was really going to go after them for malpractice. I would like to know if ANYONE has their order fulfilled? I got an "out of stock" email. I wonder if the OP has his order or perhaps he got out of stock too, which would indicate HN never had any stock and incorrectly listed this on their webpage.
Seriously what is wrong with aussie retailers where they can't even manually plug in how much stock they are prepared to offer on an online site and "expire" the listing when the stock has been exhausted.
I also got the email, but are people really that surprised/annoyed by it? For an item that's normally $20+, on special for $5, and then has a price error bringing it down to $2 leading to plenty of people ordering 10+ (even 40+) for a fixed shipping cost, it seemed very likely they weren't going to have enough stock to support that, or that they weren't going to honour a pricing mistake.
It wasn't a pricing mistake, the price was the same on ebay, if it was a pricing mistake it doesn't make any sense. They should have been well aware there would be some people wanting it when all ozbargainers went crazy for the $5 special.
One way or another, there was a mistake in the price with their online store given it was listed as $5 but showed in the cart as $2. Perhaps the eBay store automatically lists items based on the cart price? Idunno, but again, whether it's cancelled due to pricing mistake, or cancelled due to running out of stock, why are people that surprised/annoyed by it?
If you look at my first post in this deal the other night, I was half expecting it to be a pricing error. I would've preferred if they said it was a pricing error. To say it's an inventory issue, raises more questions about their competency as an online retailer and managing customer expectation, thinking they are buying something that doesn't exist.

You are 100% correct. It obviously was way too cheap, yet people get all excited when their order is cancelled.
oh well, wasn't quite ready to go clean shaven again anyway.

I got a call from Harvey Norman on Wednesday to ask me what address they can send to as I had put in a parcel locker address and they use a courier service. I assume then that my order is on the way.
I only ordered 3 packs if that makes any difference.
I have not got any Refund email or any email telling me that it is shipping.
They offered me 1 pack. Yeah one pack for the $20 I spent…

"I paid for 5 packets. Each packet has 8 blades meaning I ordered 40 blades. Totalling $10 as each packet was marked at 2$. Plus 10$ shipping.
Are you offering me 8 blades for my original purchase price of $20. Or are you going to send me 10 packs of 4 blades at the agreed upon price which would equate to the order we contractually agreed upon?
If your response correlates to the latter portion of my statement. Then I am agreeable to you doubling the amount of packets you send me whilst halving the quantity in each packet."No reply even though I replied within 15 minutes of their email.
Spoke to Harvey Norman online support who said they would call me, yesterday, and didn't receive a call at all.
Spoke again to them today 14th March. And was told "sorry, you need to speak to Josh 9582 8113" who does the Big Buys stuff apparently.
Tried calling today right after I got the number, no answer.

Told "sorry on backorder not sure when they will come in but can only offer you one packet and refund the difference".

Received the 6x 4packs today, which were what I ordered.
Mine turned up today. 6x 4 packs instead of 3x 8 packs, but that's fine by me.
I got the tracking info last week and mine turned up today,in VIC. Received 4 x 4 which is the same amount I ordered, 2 x 8.

I believe it is more depends on how much you ordered.
I recall that I didn't get in early. But ordered 2 packs (of 8) for $14 total.
It seems I ordered at 9:49 pm on the date this post was created, so almost 2 hours later.
I got a refund on the postage and still waiting. Contacted them today and told they'll update with more info when they know. I was told 3 weeks ago that there was a shortage and my order would be sent out in approximately 2 weeks' time. However, that has come and gone.
