No, it's not. There is no C&C for these batteries. Click on the link. You'll see it says 'Online Exclusive Offer'. Try selecting C&C, enter a postcode, and you'll see there's zero stock right across the country. Call 1300 660 054 and they'll confirm what I just told you.

Tropical is made is a decent facility, Chocolat is made in china and does not retain charge as well (if not other issues).
No, those tropical eneloops are also made in china.

100% correct - after paying extra for Sanyo Tropicals I received Panasonic made in China batteries.
I reported the misleading / outdated picture over a month ago.
They are same quality as chocolat.@ynotbargain:
The picture is misleading, but if you look at the product's model number, you will see that it lists the Chinese Panos!
@ynotbargain: Certainly looks like they don't listen… I also reported the misleading photo about 1 1/2 months ago, with links to photos of the received product… and they didn't reply nor has it been fixed!
Edit: thought the description was incorrect also, but after a re-read it looks correct for the product received. It just doesn't match the photo, which is incorrect for the product currently stocked!

If you buy more than one pack and mix them up from time to time I think you'll find the chocolat's aren't easy to keep in pairs :)
Considering returning the choclat's I purchased as they don't seem to be holding their charge for when I want to use them.
Yeah Eneloops are horrible now. I dislike the Chocolats, not holding their charge like the former ones did.
Now Tropical is the same Chinese quality.
Can I assume, the more expensive one is the better one?

Hi are these better than the new energizer rechargeable batteries
Just received my 2 x 8 chocolate batteries in the mail yesterday from the last deal. As others have said, the packaging box is ridiculous and could fit 20 packets in there. To top that off, they (hopefully) are sending the charger separately… maybe it will arrive in a box twice the size again.
nah the charger is stuffed into a padded bag that barely fits it
well thats how mine cameLol… I got the same humungous box when I ordered my first two packs… and when I ordered three the next time… they shipped them two separate padded bags! If I ever order any more… maybe they will ship them in the one bag, or in the box again, just to trick me!
