Dick Smith Panasonic Eneloop Mobile Booster Black or White - $9.98 Plus $5.95 Delivery ($15.93)

30

This one seems to keep coming up on sale, and I think the retail price is $39.98?

Today Online only - DickSMith "WAREHOUSE WIPEOUT SALE" !

Anyway, I ordered a XiaoMi 10400 and whilst waiting, I was almost tempted to get the $6.49 Juice Up! deal (which, BTW is back on again : http://www.dicksmith.com.au/batteries/juice-up-2200mah-power…) but then found this one on sale once more … I think for the extra $3.49 with a lithium battery it's worth it (if you were going to pay for delivery already).

It also has an "integrated" USB cable for charging/recharging.

Delivery only … for the same price you can get 2x Juice Up! units pickup instore, so up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.

  • So is this a unit where you put in your own Eneloop/AA battery in it?

  • +3

No. It's just branded as a part of the Eneloop family. It has an internal lithium battery already. All ready to go.

  • +1

Eneloop by name, not by nature.

"This one seems to keep coming up on sale, and I think the retail price is $39.98?"

yes, about once a week. When it's not on its weekly special cycle, it's about $30 at DSE.

      Wowsers, $30 for 2200mAh? That's a bit rich…

You'd be much better served getting a Romoss or Xiaomi 10400mAh for that much.

      • 2,850 mAh - according to the box pic

        • Ah my bad, thanks for the correction. I saw the 2200mAh in the URL for the DSE-branded one and mistakenly thought it referred to the Panasonic unit.

  • 2200 and 1A is practically useless now days.

    • 2,650 mAh

      • oops. still useless though.

        • +1

Actually if you zoom in on the pic it says, 2,850 mAh - getting better!

        • @nismo: Thanks, changed up top.

Also, the package is honestly advertised … says it will be good for 1x charge. Nice to see.

        • @nismo:

Like hotel prices, every time we check on it, it goes up!

          @blahman: power level … over 9000?!

  • delivery kills the deal

    • Yeah, i would buy if it had free delivery.

For $ per mAh I think the XiaoMi slim 5000 is probably better value at $24.95 from Mushy's.

      • Potability wise the 2850mAh is great though. I got a one that's similar size and it's probably saved me quite a few times.

Don't drink it. It's highly poisonous.
