      Why is it a Negative vote?

      • +7

        So other people know it is not the best deal available at this moment and don't just blindly click on the link before reading the comments. Nothing personal.

        • -4

          We are all old enough to make such decision and not 'blindly click' on the deal. Been here long enough to do your own DD. Don't believe it deserve a negative vote. It is people like you that most poster don't post.

          With respect, I very much appreciate you taking the effort to post a bargain, I just wish next time you'll make a bit more effort and do what you are supposed to before posting a bargain, which involves checking previous bargains to make sure that yours is infact the cheapest available. You'll also notice on the neg vote guidelines that the number one reason to leave a negative vote is if the price isn't the lowest available. So I'm sorry this post didn't work out for you, like i said it's nothing personal, but there's no kudos for coming second best, and its not constructive for the website in any way to have a deal posted that is not the cheapest available. Its not about your recognition, but in saying that, I hope this failed deal doesn't stop you from posting better deals in the future! Its the posters that keep this great website alive!

          @Riczter:
          59 cents cheaper, technically you are right. But what about the fact when paying USD there is generally a conversion rate fee. Just wondering if you took that into account?

        • @Riczter:

          neg me all you want, imo why doesn't ozB query existing un-expired related posts before allowing a new one. This site should encourage people posting stuff not punish those attempting to do so. Neg OzB not people trying to contribute.

        • @snagseb:
          Hmm, no I didn't take that into account, I just used google's converter, however I've gone back and changed the currency on the gearbest website to AUD and it looks like the cart comes to AU$23.33, which I'm assuming wouldn't incur any foreign transaction fees, but i might be wrong on that… But if i am it would no doubt be the same on the banggood site making it a moot point right?
          I know we are splitting hairs over less than a dollar…. but this is ozbargain we're talking about here ;)

          @saard:

          I completely agree with you, and the site does to an extent try to find matching deals to avoid dupes, but its not perfect.
          But a neg isnt a punishment, if you get upset when your deal gets negged you are taking it too personally. I understand its disappointing, but the rules make sense, there's no point in posting a deal thats more expensive than something that has already been posted and is still active.

      I agree with Riczter that if available cheaper then this is not a bargain worthy of posting.

        • +1

          $0.73 difference if you price it as AUD on both sites. That's a Macca's soft serve plus some change.

    I'm very doubtful these banks are even close to the 10000mAh claim. But for the price… Worth a try.

    I have two advertised 6000mAh banks that are only really 3500mAh. They are sold for $50 each in physical stores. (I got both for $20, otherwise I would have returned them)

    Happy bargain hunting!

    • Xioami's power banks are pretty legit, as long as you get a genuine one.
