  • Does it have NFC?

    • You could always buy an NFC tag for cheap anyway.

    • The one I got from Telstra during new year's eve has NFC. I assume it's the same ones they are giving now.

      • Where is the NFC tag on this?

        • See this

        • @dealsfinder: No NFC then. There's no sticker in that location.

        • @happychappy1: The black label itself is the sticker. When turn on the NFC and slide in my phone it automatically opens the cardboard app.

        • @dealsfinder: There's no label on the one in this promo. Just blank cardboard.

I'm not sure. Is there a way I can test to see?

Come in useful to make nice sleeping areas for those who booked cheap flights to Perth.

  • Compatible with note 4?

    • +1

It's the generic Googls Cardboard but your only problem is that the Note 4 might be too bit for the phone holder part. It fits an iPhone 6 and a HTC One M8 fine without cases on

    • i need to know as well.

www.thedivergentseries.com/#shatterreality links for downloading the app if you already have cardboard :)

Thanks OP! Never got one as I didn't know if it would work with an iPhone 5c (also from the Telstra Shop, lol)… now I get to try for free.

    • They're actually using iPhone 5's in the demonstration in store so it definitely works!

Got one, it works great but the resolution is slightly underwhelming. Once you divide the screen, it's not much higher than a Nintendo 3DS. You really need a 1080p smartphone to get the most out of it.

        • It's designed for the Nexus 5.

  • Thanks OP will head into the city a little later on.

  • Can't make it to the city today :( … Will this promotion happen again? How much is this otherwise? Thx

  • Just picked up a couple. They have insurgent packaging but all good. People are grabbing 5 at a time so might not last

  • Just picked one up at Telstra Store in Parramatta Westfields FYI.

  • Just got given a couple and the guy said he had heaps left.

  • Was pretty cool, although resolution could have been better. Picked up a few :). Off to see Insurgent tomorrow night. Yay!

    • Resolution is dependent on your handset of course, it being designed for the nexus 5 1080p. Not sure about the content itself.

  • Last one! They closed up shop now. Phew.

  • Missed out on this, have been looking for one for a while now, would one of you be able to hand me one since u grabbed a few? Would really appreciate.

  • thanks OP. MIssed out on the Sydney's promotional fireworks one earlier this year but got this. Yipee.
