  • To have a new account, can i start one with a used name but with an unused email address ?
I know email is checked but names & addresses ?

    • +1

Yeh pretty sure the name isn't checked

  • +2

i thought groupon had a habit of not honouring the deals they advertise?

  • -8

    Brace for the negs!!!

    • Haha neg away Groupon brown nosers!!!

  • Ahh Groupon…. took days for them to decide because they couldn't give the woolworths discount, it was a pricing error.

    • +2

Yep - I was a new customer until I bought the woolies card which they didn't honor.

  • +1

A lot of effort and restrictions that can be bettered by shopping with Woolworths directly…

  • +13

Fu@k off, Groupon. Still haven't got my money back yet.

    • +2

Same here. I started several discussions via their help section and all they keep doing is saying sorry.

They aren't doing anything to try and get my money back to me sooner, other than telling me 7-10 working days. Or doing anything to win me back as a customer.

As soon as my money is refunded I'm removing my account (with them), they don't deserve my business.

      • +1

I heard a lot of bad press about Groupon. I signed up to take advantage of that last Woolies deal and they pull the pin. Like nismo and subydooby, i'm yet to get my money back.

It didn't surprise me there was a site for Groupon Sucks … well deserved if I may say.

  • +5

Groupon don't honour deals. So no deal.

  • +3

Can't neg for it, but another vote of no confidence in Groupon. Complete waste of time.

  • +1

Careful the coupon codes most likely don't stack with other coupon codes. By the time you get this code, woolworths would have launched better codes (as part of a bigger campaign) and you aren't able to use them because you are stuck with this shittier one.

Last time I got wrecked by Groupon because of this. Never again.

    • Just to clarify codes are sent immediately, basically it is your groupon voucher code. Yes you are correct that it does not stack with other codes but you get free delivery for your first order.

  • +3

don't deal with Groupon. refuse to honour deal and refund. still working on refund. just say sorry and do nothing in email

    Groupon, No deal!

  • I will never again trust Groupon or buy anything from them.

  • +2

    • No refunds for change of mind

How they can refund and change their mind?

  • Don't buy from Groupon.

  • +1

This is basically a dupe of https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/186217, only without the 15% off AWESOME voucher.

    • But that $42.50 for $60 deal expired.

  • +2

Well my $60 for $50 groupon coupon code (purchased last week with their 'Awesome' code, I rang & they did not cancel it) worked at Woolworths online just now, free delivery too, went through Cash Bask so hope for $15 refund also.
    $42.50 - $15 = $27.50 for $60 of food,

  • Has anyone's voucher come back with " Sorry, you are not eligible for this coupon promotion."?

    • You have to use it with new account. If you use with existing account then you will get that error. At least I got.

This may be a pricing error. It seems that oz bargain and groupon have some kind of deal as negative groupon comments get deleted! Had 6 deleted so far. I wonder how long this comment will be here.
