    Still too expensive locally.

    • I agree.

I've never understood the appeal of this brand? Why so much for a cheap nylon bag?

They're extremely well made. At least they were, since I haven't had any need to look at new ones since mine has lasted 5+ years of daily use and looks brand new after a quick clean.

      Wouldn't pay full price though.

My backpack has lasted well over 5 years of daily use, too. It was a freebie.

This is a fashion item, first and foremost. The brand has become "desirable" for whatever reason.

As long as there are people who will buy iPhones, monster cables and Voss water…there will be a market for crumpler products.

Overpriced HDMI cables or boutique water aren't really a fair comparison. Both make BS marketing claims while doing exactly the same thing as a generic.

Yes this is a low end luxury product, but I'm saying they happen to be well made at the same time.

    • You get a functional, "stylish" (I know taste is subjective) and high quality storage solution.

It's not just all talk either, but backed by their lifetime warranty.

Don't see too many 'wear n tear' brands offer these.

      • Sorry stylish nylon bag is an oxymoron imo. My leather daily bag cost around the same as these on special from Myers and is about 6 years old. Each to their own I guess.

  • There is a Crumpler outlet at Birkenhead Point shopping center in Sydney that does constant 30% off. Stocks are limited and off season though.
