Keep seeing posts from Gearbest lately.

I have had nothing but trouble with them.

All I can do is warn others if there is a problem it will be tough to get anywhere with this site.

Good luck if you buy from them….

    • Have you tried opening a dispute with Paypal?
You can now request a refund for purchases that are up to 180 days old.

      • ah paypal the company that threatens you with removing buyer protection when you don't receive stuff or anything else. its a bit like ebay who just ignore complaints now……… love that 20% off a price hike sale this weekend don't you? oh and I am being stalked here at the mo so anyway you should read up on why Paypal are targeting people who make legitimate claims online just so you know.

        • Don't know what you are talking about. I used ebay customer protection several times and never had any issues.

        • Lucky you …………

  • Needing a Xiaomi account for management, and the manual only being available in Chinese in a device for controlling every I.T. device you own sort of makes Google+ look like a confessional box with the corresponding secrecy….

    • I don't recall needing a xiaomi account and it took me about 10 minutes to set mine up with the help of youtube. I've had it for months and it's been a cheap and reliable wifi extender.

      • I was just going off what was on the page - I imagine the account will be for the Android/IOS app and remote access. I guess the translation is payback for all the wax tadpoles…

      • is the web interface also in Chinese or can this be set to English?

  • You get what you pay for.
If we buy stuff from overseas, we should know
the after sale service is almost equal to none and
the oversea warranty will be useless because of expensive
international shipping cost at the 1st point.

unfortunately i did not receive what I paid for……… and I never will

  • can i use custom dns settings (from unblockus) to watch american netflix? My telstra modem is locked down, maybe this can be of use?

  • Only 100mbps ethernet, useless. I bought two and immediately cancelled my order. Gearbest did not respond to my email for over 50 hours (despite having a 'live chat' where they promise to get back to you in 24hrs). They then said the package had already been packed and they couldn't reverse the order, despite their system saying processed. I must have sent 10 emails and finally cancelled my payment via paypal. Suddenly they were able to refund my package and it magically wasn't at the post office, as they said.

Don't buy from these guys, terrible after sales service.

  • Does it come with Australian wall socket adaptor?

  • With the popularity of smart home devices, film technology products have gradually entered Home Furnishing life. Now through the millet router, you can let the air conditions, television, home, even lights are intelligent, and according to the living habits of their own customised intelligent scene.

Nobody's expecting enterprise level from a $29 router.

  • Never ever buy anything from them.
I had two very bad experience with them as I had ordered one windows box and an Andrid watch late last year. Still not received them until now.
And all they have are execuses and refused to give me full refund.
I would warn people formally about this website. DO NOT buy anything from them. It is just a joke.

    • I've never had any problems with gearbest.
Why don't you open a dispute with paypal? You can do this within 180 days after the date of purchase.
