Is it 20% off every second week?

    • Lol feels like it. They're getting more and more regular with these 20% off days

  • Silly question, but can you buy online? I see it says Store stock only but can you click and collect from store later with the discount?

    • +1

I dont think that would work out, because you still have to pay online. AFAIK there's no option to pay when collecting instore

    • in the email i got, it said in-store and online. so yes, you can click and collect.

  • Could I buy a new battery for my car and get 20% off?

    • If you find one in stock on their website. Yes!

      • why online? i thought it was instore only

        • in store and online

"Store stock" refers to something the regularly stock rather than a special order.

  • There a bit late - I've already bought my stuff to work on the car this weekend - Supercheap marketeers please note !!

    • You were a bit early.

If you have SCA membership, they give you the price difference back into your account as store credit if the price drop was within two weeks.

      • I was going to wait till Saturday to get some things ended up going this afternoon, now I can play with them on Friday :)

Thanks guys. Went in and got my stuff now. Discount credit has been applied to my account

  • Thanks OP. Was in Supercheap yesterday to buy a towbar and some 4WD stuff but something said to me wait until the Easter weekend. So I'm glad I did and will get them on Saturday instead.

If you are a Club Plus member you would have got a credit of the difference.

I know a credit means you have to go in and spend more… lucky you baulked on an early purchase as cash is always better in your pocket than credit that expires

      • Thanks noob, I wasn't aware of that. But yeah I'd rather save the coin than have a credit forcing me to buy more. Thanks for the heads up though for future reference.

  • Sounds good need some stuff

  • 20% Off generally means your paying close to normal prices…(In most cases)

    Supercheap are from "Supercheap"

  • thinking of becoming a member just for this!

did a search and this came up, they still are offering the club plus membership for $5 with $10 credit:

    • it's always been like that mate. The deal previously was to sign up for free and receive credit

  • If I sign up for the membership now, will I be eligible by saturday? It's asking for postage details as I sign up -like they'll send me a card or something maybe but that won't arrive in time…

    • Shouldn't be a problem. Just say you forgot to bring in your card, and they'll ask you for your phone number/address and verify on their systems. I've done this plenty of times when buying stuff, once when using store credit too

    • where does it say you need to be a member?

  • I went in tonight to get some oil and i got the 20% off because they had the signs up and i don't have a club card so it's 20% off for everyone.

    • thanks mate. updated

  • I bought something last weekend with a SCA membership - will I get a credit automatically or do I have to go in-store and purchase something else?

    • You'll get an email to say you have credit.
Or you can login online and view your credits under the credits section.

  • Bought heaps of stuff from SCA the other day and I scanned my membership card and the guy said 'orh yeah you'll get some credit on this this weekend' and I didn't know what he meant until now.. Wooooo

  • According to their Facebook post it's 25% off.

Here's how I got an extra $5 off my purchase today (on top of the 20% off):

Buy Clubplus membership worth $5 and checkout. (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/clubplus/)
You'll instantly receive an email to activate the Clubplus membership account.
After activation, login with your Clubplus account, you should see $10 credited to your account.
Carry on with the items you wish to purchase and use the Clubplus credit to your benefit upon checkout

    Cheers.

Very dodgy by Supercheap auto, not happy. Yesterday afternoon they had a deal on car ramps, 2 for $78. Thought id wait till the morning for 20% off.
Now they have raised the price to $39.95 each (with the 20% off already), so technically $1.90 more than it was yesterday with the discount.

Also a car creeper was $39.95 I was going to buy yesterday has now been raised in price overnight magically, with the 20% off its now $47.95.

    Not cool supercheap auto :(

    • Can confirm.@!!! Went here to post as well

I just bought a tool set and there were 2 sets with different prices - obviously i picked the cheaper one.

The guy scanned it in and it came up as more than labelled. He said the price was put up but label not changed…

I asked him if it was because of the 20% and yeah was like.. Yeah we have to change the prices on heaps of stuff.

      • also went there to buy a combo deal on like a car jack, stands and lift thing.. apparently deal ended yesterday

rofl. They probably did this to prevent club plus members from getting heaps of store cred.

20% is only off the retail price, not the sale price. They also don't increase the retail price the day before the 20% off sale.

  • Anybody having problems ordering online using a supercheap gift card that had already been purchased and activated?

I can put the gift card details in and it accepts it but on the final complete order screen, when I click complete order nothings happens, I have tried 3 different browsers.

    • I got my order through, don't know why it didn't work earlier.

  • Bought some fairly basic stuff today, and I didn't get any discount on any of the goods.
Luckily I price matched the oil with repco…

  • Prices had been increased, I was looking at some coolant and the other day it was $20.88 then when I went in today the price was $21.88 and some jack stands were increased by $2 also. I did purchase said items but it sucks they have to increase the price right before a sale.

    • If the difference was between online and in-store prices that is common, I've noticed it on many items that they are 50c-$2 more expensive in-store.
If you order these items for click and collect it usually adds the difference as a handling fee.
