      I'm going to guess it probably doesn't work as the website for Target and iTunes gift cards is a different site ("onlineshopping.target.com.au"), with a different checkout, so I'm not sure if AMEX would 'see' it as the same as Target.com.au. Depends on the backend processing I guess?

      Would have been nice to apply the current 20% off itunes gift cards linked with this AMEX deal!

        Thanks for taking the time to respond jad! If agree with you, given than gift cards are sold on a different web domain and it is clearly excluded in the t&c, the chances of getting the cash back are slim to none.

      For anyone still watching this thread I tried the gift cards purchase with the Amex. Bought over $100 worth of itunes cards on 30/5/15 and there's been no statement credit as of today 3/6/15.

      I didn't think it would apply as there's a separate Target payment gateway for gift cards. The purchase already had 20% off and I needed them anyway so I was willing to give it a shot. Something to keep in mind for next time.

          I've found the best way to make use of these online only discounts is to buy something and return it in store. Mostly the 2 transactions are unrelated, so your cash back won't be affected :)

    I think it's all been redeemed, I don't see the offer listed when I sign in. I'm seeing $50 off Harvey's and $5 off maccas but nothing for Target :(
